  1. In the finale of Arkham Knight I shat myself when Batman showed up out of nowhere. Also Titanfall 2 deserves a spot here for Effect and Cause, legit the best FPS mission ever.

  2. They should make a spin-off of Batman Arkham Knight where Batman turns into the Batman who laughs. I mean it's all set up he's infected with Joker blood and it's messing with his head so go ahead turn him evil. Then you start another series on another Earth where the Batman who laughs invades it to fight another Batman and Justice league.

  3. No mention of Ziggurat Vertigo from Quake? One-eighth normal gravity, a really cool blue stone aesthetic, a cool mirrored pyramidal design, and the introduction of the Pentagram of Protection power-up.

  4. Finale of Arkham Knight would be great, except for the part where the Joker storyline was literally forced in because people weren't ready to let Mark Hamill retire gracefully from the role. Bruce uses the Joker blood cure on himself in the finale of City. They made a big point of showcasing him doing so, and we know from his long history of fighting Scarecrow that he has built up a supreme tolerance to every form of Fear Toxin that Crane cooks up.

Why, then, would they retcon what had been clearly established (I mean, Scarecrow even screams at you in Asylum for "ingesting enough toxin to drive ten men insane") just to have the Joker steal the spotlight again, even post-mortem? Because they lost their footing and couldn't recover from their big deal about the Arkham Knight being an "original character" (Red Hood with a different dome, come on, what was that tripe?) that they had to fall back on a badly done retcon just to try and recoup some fan love.

Joker being in Arkham Knight as a main antagonist was poorly done, disrespectful to the legacy of rivalry that he and Bats had built for the better part of a freaking century, and completely unnecessary to the plot. They could have had the 'people hallucinating Joker and committing crimes' thing as a complete side deal without ever showing one second of the Clown on-screen, and it would have served the same purpose without ruining the entire point of the game. I thought Crane was gonna be the focal point of that adventure, damn it, and I was really hype to see another Rocksteady Batman game without the Joker taking center stage.

    So disappointed…

  5. I just remember spending The Finale beating Joker into the ground for like five minutes before tossing him in the box.
Effect and Cause should definitely be here for Titanfall 2. That was a fun little bit of time travel.
