  1. Terry McGinnis is the Batman at the end of the true ending of Arkham Knight, so, no, it's not up for personal interpretation. It's just really poorly done.

  2. Assassin's Creed 3's ending upset me. Had 4 console/PC bases games as Desmond where things ended fairly cool as an ending, and then along comes 3 where they killed him off at the end.

  3. Thank you for mentioning that FFXs post credit scene only makes (more) sense with the 100% ending in FFX 2. I see that connection overlooked in every video talking about FFX. I was feeling like I was the only one who made the connection that FFXs ending only linked to FFX2s ending directly, and having played both when they came out I remember being so psyched at the end of FFX2 for that connection

  4. The true ending of Arkham Knight isn’t THAT hard to be honest. The only real pain in the ass to getting it are the Riddler Challenges and even then most it’s nowhere NEAR as hard as it is in Arkham City

  5. What was hard to understand about Metal Gear Solid V's ending?¿? If you played the original Metal Gear games which chronologically take place after 5 you'd know that Solid Snake kills Big Boss twice, which would only make sense if there are 2 different Big Bosses. Personally I loved this twist, way better than the over the top fan service that was 4 and that retcon of who the patriots were, let's just say they should have stuck to the original secret organization they had planned and not that it was computers bs we got, 4 was the weak link of the series too many member berries in 4 just too many.

  6. The thing that confused me about Halo 2's ending was when cortana said "shoot" when the Gravemind came. Still know clue what the meant also playing Arbiter was more fun then playing Chief, playing Arbiter was literally the best part of Halo 2. Don't know why people complain about that

  7. Funny that Drakengard was mentioned but not its spin-off/sequel Nier series, which also has its share of bizarre twists and endings. Automata takes the cake in particular.
Metal Gear Solid 2 would have also deserved a place along with V. My personal winner in the WTH just happened department for a very long time.

  8. Observation – you play as the AI helper of the station known as SAM. You have one companion and both of you are trying to figure out what is going on. The ending to the game does NOT give away it's meaning. The only thing you know for sure at the end is that you are either on Earth or some Earth-like planet, after being on the surface of Jupiter (don't ask, just play), and you and your human companion have merged into one being. I not only played this game multiple times because I missed some of the achievements in my first run; I also played it multiple times to try and figure out what is going on at the end.

  9. This is more to a new game that was just released…but you can't say the ending of resident evil village was a shock, cause my goodness my mind was exploding at the end of that game

  10. Come on how can you not have Half Life 2 Episode 2 on here. Especially since you mentioned Halo 2's cliffhanger and no cliffhanger tops HL2EP2's cliffhanger.

Besides the cliffhanger, there's still a bunch of questions that left people scratching their heads, like what's actually on the Borealis? Is it really Aperture Science's portal tech? What unforeseen consequences did the Gman warned of? Is it with destroying the tech or using it? What deal did Eli made with the Gman? Etc etc.

Granted Marc Laidlaw did eventually release Epistle 3, which is technically the entire plot of the next Half Life game, but up to the point before he released that on his blog, it was one of the most on the seat thing as a gamer from the late 2000s.
