It's pronounced Tee-dus. Not tie-dus.
What about the secret ending to Paper Mario the Origami King? I’ve heard it’s very hard to unlock.
Farethere City
In Farethere City, you're a small boy who gets a chance to fulfill his dream of running a general store. Your age is hardly the weirdest thing about your situation, but your fellow residents are friendly and supportive. All is not well, however, as you keep having strange dreams involving roadways, crosswalk signals, and traffic cones, and a common effect of eating the local food is being whisked away to disturbing tableaus called "illusions". But if you persevere and accomplish the objectives, you'll be asked to retrieve some speech notes for the acting mayor to use at your party. You go get them, a painting falls, you read a note on the back, and leave, and the game ends on a happy note, but with no explanation for any of the weirdness. However.
To see the true ending, you must accomplish two objectives: convince Karakoro to stay in Farethere City, and collect all the music box parts before you go deal with the haunting at your property. The first of those requires you to do a few things relating to Karakoro, and the second requires finding the parts in ways ranging from the obvious — two are literally in plain sight in their respective locations — to checking a certain thing more than once in a place you might not think to go in a place that psychologically does not encourage staying, and for which there's only a chance you might go there each time you try to go to a certain different location. Accomplish both of these, and you'll go through a sequence of events after which you'll learn that you, everyone in town, and probably everyone in every world you've visited, is dead. You're then presented with a choice: go on the Path of Rebirth — you're shown as a Rinne walking on the overtly scary bit of the Path — or stay in Farethere with your friendly neighbors and do what you always wanted to do. Do the latter, and the credits will roll, followed by a postgame. Either way, this knowledge will change how you see future playthroughs… at least in that you have a explanation of sorts.
NieR franchise. (No spoilers guys.)
Undertale is still a painful ending. Asriel is forever trapped as a flower who will inevitably forget everything again. That's just sad.
I'm surprised they didn't mention The Witch's House.
DS3 was such a bad game.
Uhh…Shadow isn't Sonic's doubleganger. He's his counterpart. Shadow is an antihero, so he commonly shifts between serving the good and bad side. Shadow was created 50 years prior to Sonic Adventure 2, known as Project Shadow. Sonic wasn't even born 50 years before that game. Seems like you didn't play the game that takes place before Shadow the Hedgehog: Sonic Adventure 2. This connected story between Sonic games I call the "Dreamcast Saga", despite only two of the entries within that saga being released on the Dreamcast. The story progression is like this: Sonic Adventure 1>Sonic Adventure 2> (I think) Sonic Heroes>and Shadow the Hedgehog. Reason why I think Sonic Heroes takes place before Shadow the Hedgehog, because during the events of Sonic Heroes, Sonic and friends are surprised that Shadow is alive, as he was assumed to have died after defeating The Final Hazard with Super Sonic. Shadow the Hedgehog's true final battle cannot be unlocked until you have seen every other ending in the game on that save file. For each ending you unlock in Shadow the Hedgehog, you unlock a new gun that can possibly be inside the crates that Shadow's head is printed onto as a logo. Seems like you didn't play or research the other entries in the Dreamcast Saga.
She doesn't write this…. she an actress
Tidus’s name is pronounced Teedus. Not Tie-dus.
For the next one of these do the Sword Art Online Games
How about dishonored actual good ending that you ONLY get if you have "clean hands" and "ghost".
One thing you missed about the Undertale Pacifist ending, after waking up from the final fight but before leaving the Underground, if you travel ALLLL the way back to the very first room of the game, you can have a few more (admittedly sad) lines of dialog from Asriel who can't escape with the other monsters.
So what?!
Megadimension Neptunia VII True End, so easy to miss and screw up but oh so goddamn worth
ITS JESS FROM GAMESPOT!
Why does she pronounce it iZack lol
I had to skip most of these as i havent played them yet but theyre in my library.
Prince of Persia Warrior Withing
i dont like jess
i dont like jess
Arkham Knight has the worst ending ever. Batman just gives up and lets scarecrow win, Jason shows up but it’s too late and then Batman fakes his death, cuts all ties and…continues being batman…🤨
I enjoyed the list, but Jess really isn't that good of a presenter.
Drankengard.
The “True” ending created the phenomenal Nier series
Also, would make a phenomenal remaster. The amount of lore from the weapon stories could create such a bigger universe for that series
omori has a super sad, true ending.
my god, there's something about this woman's eyes that get me everytime. Please make more vids!
isnt the batman one also in multiple WC videos about waste of time endings or achievements that wasn't worth the effort done by Jules?
6:45 did he cock an smg?
Last month you put bloodbornes true ending in endings that insulted players lol
How come no one ever makes the connection that the true ending to FFX-2 is also the after-credits scene from FFX?
When you guys do videos like this, I really wish you’d put a list of what games you’ll be spoiling before you get into the content. When you’re sharing literally the endings of multiple games, a little more than “spoilers ahead” is warranted.
You can argue th that both genocide and pacifist are both true endings
BAKA MITAI
Something tells me Jess from what culture has no idea about any of these games lol. She’s just reading a script
lufia for the nintendo ds you don't leave your child alone after the true ending
The rebirth ending from Silent Hill 2 which is technically cannonical with the dog ending
Farewell, good hunter.
Blaze Blue Continuum Shift? Persona 5 Royale?
Valkyrie profile is a fantastic gem. spoiler:
Normal ending path: Do everything you’re told to result: you get a thumbs up from Odin and the gods
True ending path: Do everything you’re told to, then disobey for a bit. Result: odin’s actually a jerk, you’re not even really a Valkyrie, you realize you’ve been letting people dies when you could’ve been saving their lives, and then you become god to remake the world. Way more satisfying!
I think most people liked Tidus dying at the end of FFX because he was so obnoxious with all his whining and moping.
