I could never get past Chapter 3 in Ninja Gaiden, and my brother and I tried playing Battletoads/Double Dragon. We were so close to the end of the game but we got our asses kicked.

Ghost n Goblins, Ninja Gaiden, All of the Dark Souls games, Sekiro, The Surge 1&2, and Nioh 1&2. All these game made me have a love/hate relationship with them.

Most of the time you have no clue to where to go, and when you know what to do, you have to hit some very tightly timed inputs.
I guess it was so hateful that, everybody wanted, but no one played it.
A game that lets you make your own Super Mario courses may seem good on paper. Unfortunately, the majority of the players are either very lazy with their course designs, or make terribly hard courses that no sane player would ever want to touch.

Got that ninja gaiden on release. I tried every day for a month after school for HOURS! I tapped out on Alma after that. Thats the only game storyline I have never finished.

In Kayin's view, one of the best reviews he ever got was how one Let's player broke his hand punching a hole in the wall after playing the game.
