  13. And the reason you don do any damage, that because parasite tier that above assimilate ( primitive, ect, ) will adapting to any damage that is not fire, and yes, beckon can also adapting to damage type.

  22. 4:56 Shadow you should try to time your hits because spamming reduces damage in any version after 1.9
    You should also try to crit hit the mobs(Jump up and while your falling, hit them)

  29. SHADOW, its me again. Basically you can craft biome purifiers thats made with 1 diamond and 8 cobblestone. It can purify the parasite biome into a plains biome. Also the stage 4 beckons (The big ones) can only be killed with multiple damage sources.

  33. so I should tell you that from this parasite's rotten flesh and a clock you can craft a dirty watch the watch will tell you which stage are the parasites on (from 7-0) and if you don't start making blocks that will take some points from the parasites… well you are going to have a bad time. I can't put all the crafts here so google it ok? Oh, and great video keep it up!

  36. Shadow you should survive in an abandoned zombie infested factory,

    Challenge modifiers (5 good the rest are bad, the good ones will be marked with a ‘*’) shadow must activate 7 of his choice

    1. *Buddy up; Choose 1 other person or no one to survive with you, such as preferably a trusted friend, or you can pick a lucky discord member

    2. +1 modifier; Make it slightly harder with 1 extra mod such as the parasite mod or a mod that adds some of the mobs from your solo horror island survival.

    3. Iron man; Start with iron weapons tools and armour

    4. Evil shadows; zombie spawn chance increased in unlit or lesser lit areas

    5. Allergic to light; lit areas will hurt you half a heart per 5 seconds

    6. Home sweet home; zombies only spawn nests which are only found in small rooms 1 nest hold up to 8 zombies. Nests can merge if they too close together

    7. *Infected; if you die to a zombie and another player is with you, you become a zombie, kinda like the parasite mod, only 1 person can be a zombie, murder survivors (players or AI, your choice) to keep your hunger up, normal food does not increase hunger, but rotten apples will increase health by 4 hearts and increase hunger by 2 hunger points, harming potions also act as their opposite the health potion and vice versa. Cannot open doors.

    8. *Long ranged defender; start with a shield and a bow with 1 and a half stacks of arrows.

    9. *clingy man; get 2 extra lives before losing + keep inventory is enabled

    If none of these modifiers exist either ask someone to make atleast or don’t use them at all.

Love how every different video showcases different parts of the big battles and how you can piece them together to figure out where it all went wrong even without knowing much about the Parasite mod. Shadow's video especially is the final piece for my analysis. High level beacon cluster that's both in the water and spawning Parasites in the water too and immune to fire damage from the front, at least two other secondary major clusters of beacons pumping out Parasites while their focused on the front cluster plus all the stray level one beacons, and the "normal" non Parasite giant spiders from the hills too wiping more and drawing fire away from the Parasites, plus the fact every death by Parasite is spawning more, usually right in the middle of their ranks which cause even more damage. I didn't even get into how long it takes for the respawned to get off the ship and reach the battle again, usually taking damage from wandering mobs along the way.
