beat the game within a week after doing a lot of sides and finished the story. i decided after a bad experience, i just deleted the game and gonna wait for patches and the content they cut. my hope is on modders
I play on PC and see only a few bugs. The whole bug issue is totally over-inflated or console-only.
Yeah, Kevduit is pretty much highly accurate in this review. I'm 60+ hours in … I'm seeing the things he's saying … The Developers can add to this game anything they want in the future! So it's a solid beginning for future development in gaming. Should be awarded for "Best Graphics". I can see a couple years in development of graphics in this game but NOT the missions folks. Youtube is a must for completing missions. Agree it's not the best RPG. It's more like Mass Effect and Fallout(ish).

Rage 2 does the outskirts better than Cyberpunk I felt like they tried to cram in too much

I think it's not really about perfection or expectations tbf. It was marketed and sold based on dishonest videos & ads, down right a scam for previous gen Consoles (and the problem is not that it doesn't run on them, the problem is they knew it and prevented any prior review and sold it anyway. Simple solution was not to sell it on these or to have a Giant disclaimer. Not to scam people into purchasing a product full price that does not work).
If you add to that AI and physics way below standards and the ones from games 7-10y older… (not even mentioning the bugs), then you are left with a cinematic story which does not even feature (as advertised once more) meaningful choice. The environment of the city is beautiful (for those lucky enough to have high end machines or last gen) and that is really their best work : Textures & lighting.
Yes you can have fun with it, so can you with any games, but it is bigger than that. This is not an indie company… let this be a precedent that players won't accept (hopefully) another sub-par below standard game, where final product has little to do with the advertised content, and sold at full price. Were it to be sold half price as an early access title, then fine… but not as a finished product.
The sheer dishonesty and below standard quality of pretty much everything in the product is overshadowing the few good things they managed well, and it is a shame. Not because we had hype or expectations, but because it is not meeting even the lowest of expectations for the most part. (ie: How can you feature underwater content and not have any water physics…)
I hope they get a redemption story like no man's sky, but their behaviour towards the player base is unacceptable, especially after boasting for so many years how they respected and cared for players and their money…
Finally someone who enjoyed themselves playing. There is a GOOD GAME here. I just hope people start realizing before it’s too late

Most choices have consequences long term because the developers knew players would just reload to see all the options, ruining the point of a replay.
Im on my 3rd playthrough and I can tell you with absolute certainly that your choices do impact the game.
Not as much as what people hoped, but more so than New Vegas.
Problem is they didnt flush out the factions in this game like they were supposed to.
You cant really join any of them
So its hard to show choice impact other than longterm story impacts, such as Jackie coming back or you surviving without a terminal condition, or using Alts help in the Panam ending, or not.
The choice definitely does matter, they just hid it from being able to be immediately found out by YouTubers
Can you complete all crime, npcd, type encounters? Or are they endless

They amazing on details, and alot of they side missions feel like it was originally designed for main story but categorized as side missions midway or before it launched.
My biggest gripe with the game is the lack of new game plus/repeatable content/exp balance, as you have said, by the time you get to level 50, craft and upgrade your gear, buy your favorite vehicle, there's just nothing else to do, no alternate doors for you to open, no computers for you to hack, nothing. By the time you get successful, you're punished with boredom and content drought. Starting a new game doesn't even matter as the change that you can make throughout the game is very minor. It's a good game if you're really into it, it's even a great experience for me…as long as you haven't finished it yet.

It’s had it’s issues, I’m on Xbox one.. but I’m enjoying it.
It’s not what was promised, but what is nowadays.
I have some faith that the numerous issues will be, somewhat remedied.
For me the issues are more in the gameplay.. crafting for example is cool, but I need the original iconic guns in order to craft the higher rarity ones.. the same guns that I trashed way earlier because the game never thought to mention that they’d be essential.
The games also really easy even on the highest difficulty, sometimes the AI just doesn’t register that Iv opened fire on him and his pals..
I hope it gets fixed, so much potential!.
i don't get it b time you upgrade everything and are powerful as fk there is nothing to do except easy mission so you do all hard missions with shit guns and do easy missions with insane guns ,that's fkin stupid normally u level up weapons to do hard missions in this game u level up so u can walk through the easy missions with eyes closed WTF ,PS no bugs for me

In that claire mission the beast in me there's a way to get her to not do what she says she wanted to do with the right dialogue choices when she first brings it up. You could double check the guides of missions to see what the possible outcomes were and what the long term affects are if any.

Perfection is not possible in cutting edge open world games. Once you accept that you can enjoy these games. I have loved the 100 hours or more I’ve sunk into it. My biggest complaint is not having the option to skip certain mission parts if I’ve already done them. The Arasaka tower mission is never going to change so why force me to play it for every character build I want to do
The game runs fine on PC, better and better everyday. Great review!

I’m so excited to play in a few days, but they have to fix the AI. I don’t care too much about bugs as long as they aren’t game breaking, but bad AI makes any game much less enjoyable for me. I’m sure that eventually most of the bugs will be gone and the AI will be fixed.
