100 Thieves Valorant FINED, THEY FIRE BACK WITH VIDEO, Riot Responds

A series of back and forths from @100 Thieves and @Riot Games as the team was issued a ruling and $5,000 fine in @VALORANT after their coach was accused of “threatening to leverage player social media platforms against Riot and the TO”. What followed was 100 Thieves releasing a video and Riot Games asking for the full thing.

  1. Guess 100 Thieves need to practice on 100 ping servers and work on their reaction times. 80 ping is litterally not bad at all…. 8 ping 2 ping…..lag latency…ping advantage is trash. If your skill level is that high I get it…but start practicing on higher ping servers then when you have this issue you'll be fine I used to play eu players I had 180 ping and it helped reactions then 100 ping felt like 20

  2. Frost handled this amicably and Riot took the piss with this. They tried to smear the business in support of their TO which is pathetic. Frost was absolutely within his rights in this conversation and I don't see this being any worse than the clip shown.

Madness. These are basically agencies to help generate more money for Riot. Why would you attempt to smear a business partner as such? Weird one this.

  3. Riot is the single worst development studio in the industry. They are an extension of Tencent, the absolute worst company in the videogame industry and yes that includes EA, Activision Blizzard and Ubisoft.
Guaranteed Tencent(Riot) strong-armed 100T to the tune of; "If you do not admit to what we claim your org will be kicked from all of our games".

  4. How they gonna complain about ping , being a professional team that uses ATT is definitely asking to have worse ping in any situation. I would think that gaming performance depending highly on internet service provider would at least, in their best interest, not bend over in this area for some sponsorship money.

  5. wait wtf riot is literally claiming that the video was edited to not show frost threaten social media presence and not giving any proof. they cant just claim that and not provide their side of the evidence

  6. I wonder what would have happened if Frost did not speak unprofessionally… But to be honest, what can we expect from people who hold American values anymore.. especially in the gamer scene. Everyone's an aHole and talks alotta shit

  7. Don’t host tournaments for your game if it’s not an owl setting. The bar has been raised for what players should compete at, don’t rob them of quality gameplay and fans of quality matches.

  8. 100T footage starts halfway through the conversation you still cant say 100T isnt at fault there when they still arent showing everything to prove they are in the wrong here plain and simple.

  9. I think Riot took the "bigger shitstorm" comment as an implication that 100T social media presence was a very strong entity that could cause backfire on Riot and the tournament. Which is kinda what happened, but still FrosT never outright said that(in the video). Makes 100T look snobby but I think his argument about the ping was fair. I dont disagree with Riots ruling and cant wait for big online tournaments to be a thing of the past.
