I think some part of Tier 1 is just auto hitting is easier, Sona's Q easy hit, Zyra you just let the plants auto hit champs, etc. I mean Blitz is easiest hook because it has most range. Again, I just think ease of use will often win, and see more use, even if another champ might have better stats, or mechanics.

Sooooooooooooooooo where does renata stand in the tier list?
Zyra is a good counter pick for Renata. Her plants continue to attack enemies no matter who is hit by her ult. Unlike every other “pet” champion their pets only target allies during the ult. Also Zyra cannot target herself with her plants so she technically can never be solo killed by Renata.
I think Zyra is so good in low ELO because she doesn't have to rely on a good adc lol that's why I'm meaning her currently. also her cc is fantastic
howd i know them changing janna was just an excuse to tank her. i really wish they wouldve just left her. all the most fun parts of her kit are gone. landing nados arent rewarding anymore. you cant bully to compensate for that. and now no speed.

13:00 I agree with this, I have that mentality because (sadly) it's almost a fact that supports with utility, rather than damage, struggle in low elo. With lux I have a 83% WR because her damage outperforms any other kind of utility. Needless to say tho, I have good vision according to the poro app xd.
It's because no one steps on her plants. I am low elo and I play zyra consistently. No one ever steps on that shit and my plants are constantly up. It's a thing. I am currently abusing it in ranked.
I enjoy playing karma but she's not good in low plat up. At that point, ADCs hide behind the wave and deliberately never step out. When you move to threaten or bait, plat supps punish you. Karma's Q has a weakness of not being able to shoot through minion waves, losing out to other poke mechanics that can poke safely from behind waves. I wish her ult was more impactful as well. I do pick Karma into Zyra because karma can one shot plants and heal off them. It's easy to sidestep snares with shield movespeed amd it's pretty easy to run up to a zyra while dodging everything and snaring her for your adc. Same with morg, before 6 it's easy to run up and dodge q with e, hold q to burst black shield, then use w to root.

I started maining zyra after going through all supp phases. Pros – poke + root + teamfight + synergy with most adc's. Cons- learning curve is a bit weird
