  1. This is WONDERFUL! Also, it seems accurate on the topic of how people with medianic powers described their experiences (not saying I believe in it, it's just very very curated on this side based on the stories).

  2. Really strong Control/Silent Hill vibes but with a something-ness I can't quite put my finger on. Bioshock Infinite-ish, Dishonoured-esque, Tomb Raider-y, Broken Sword-akin, hints of A Plague Tale Innocence? hmph no, but its something… Ah feck, I'll pre-order it when I can, figure it out when I play it.

  3. I quite like the presentation of this, but can't help but think the OOBE thing would be better with just a corner cut rather than leaving that much of the screen basically inactive. Since it is a cinematic thing, she should really automatically look in the direction of the Maw when it's there; that'd be a lot more accessible & realistic too.
Also, it seems to be missing the bit where you con grieving parents out of vast sums of cash.

  4. Had to stop the video twice to go and look up pics of the Hotel Cracovia (what a brute!) and the art of Zdzislaw Beksinski (gorgeously horrifying!) so extra thanks for that! Really like the aesthetic of the game, and what we know of the story is intriguing – hoping to see an eg stream/vid once it launches!

    Thank you Aoife! X

  5. "The blooper team said its an important topic the studio wanted to address when things can be branded as fake news"

Honestly, comparing ghost hunting to the use of social media to create disinformation in US Politics is a terrible take.

I get that Eurogamer isn't the one that said that, you were very clear the developer was, but that developer is so tone deaf my teeth hurt.

  6. Aoife: 'mirrored'
    Youtube captions: 'murdered'
    😂

Also, the whole duel worlds concept reminds me of what Respawn did with the time travel level in Titanfall 2. Which was absolutely fantastic I might add.

  7. This game looks so cool. Really interesting concept for a game. One thing I might be noticing, however – is whichever reality that isn't in focus in the cutscenes playing at a different framerate from the main reality? Wonder if that's a stylistic choice or simply a horsepower one. Regardless, super stoked to see a let's play if this!

  8. Bit disappointed with the graphics for a next gen only game tbh.

Yes I know it’s rendering 2 scenes but that’s got more to do with the cpu, expected for push on the Gpu a bit more but then I suppose it’s only showing the shabby current state of the tools on Xbox presently 🤷🏼‍♂️
