15 years – a Tribute to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Today is the 15th anniversary for the PC and Xbox 360 launch of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. As a tribute to all the memories this game has given me – and so many other players – I will present a brief recap of the game’s history and other topics surrounding the game.

I have used some reliable sources to gather information for this video. Here are they:

– Noclip’s documentary of Bethesda: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKn9yiLVlMM&t=2592s

– Todd Howard interview about Oblivion (pre-launch): https://www.gamespot.com/articles/the-elder-scrolls-iv-oblivion-qanda-overview-character-development-fallout/1100-6111720/

– Gameranx’s Oblivion analysis video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR8FjjgLnYw

– “The Elder Scrolls: A Promise Unfulfilled”, documentary by Indigo Gaming: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46gaz6veVNQ&t=175s

– Release dates, etc: https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/The_Elder_Scrolls_IV:_Oblivion

Music used in this video:
– Reign of the Septims
– Through the Valleys
– King and Country
– Watchman’s ease
– Dusk at the Market
All pieces are composed by Jeremy Soule.

I do not own any of the music, gameplay or other branding in this video, regarding the video game “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion”.
