  1. 19th tip is kinda true because i had to hard Carry until diamond Rank because in order to win a single round in plat and below I had to get 2-3 kills in order to win but when i got to diamond i trusted my teammates and I was able to win a round with 0-1 kills average because my team knows what to do in diamond. But in lower elos it's just 5 Man Rush one site. but thats fixed now cuz i reached diamond

  2. Nah… Communicating what you do is useless in Silver/Gold/Plat! On so many occasion I say, in 2v1s/3v1s: "don't peek" + "let me drone"/"let me smoke"… As soon as I do say that, it's disregarded and we end up losing, as I try to use my utility.

  3. I wouldn't have the patience to learn these ability based agents, gimigs, so I just play reyna, jett and breach, they don't have any of that, and no, not even breach, like just with a decent gamesense, and iq over 100 u can easily get way more out of breach than sova for example, bc you know where the abilities are going from minimap, this would make avg jonas' life ez if he could see where his darts are going to land

  4. Hey skillcaped! My headshot accuracy is 24.5% and still silver 1. I main reyna n sometimes i got a really stupid controller/teammates n when i tell them to do stuffs they just ignore me….. BTW valorant is my first fps shooter

  5. Coming from Rocket League, I tell my teammates all the time that they make me look good. They could be the same rank, lower rank, higher rank, but they played their part so well, they literally spoon fed me a goal.

Same thing applies in Valorant. I may not be the best aimer, but if my teammates set me for a nice little 3k-4k, I look insane to spectators and the enemy team. I did nothing special, my teammates did the work, and I stole the credit. I know, it sounds really bad. But to the trained eye, they know that the person only got that insane 3k-4k because of a teammate's play.

  6. As somebody who has recently started climing tgrough the mid ranks (plat to diamond) i can say that everything in this vid is true. My aim is good enough, i only started climbing when i focussed on doing my job and a little more and when i started playing a lot more unrated games with my immortal mates…. Playing with and against immortal level players is by far the best way to improve faster and actually get better at the parts of the game that matter like decision making, patience and game sens…

  7. this goes kinda in the direction of play something you know instead of filling, but try to play like you want and play agents that reflect that.
    Don't avoid you weaknesses.
Don't play a agent like sage, because you might have more impact now by healing, stalling and never actually get in a gunfight. Do the opposite: embrace your lack of aim and play agents with flashes like training wheels. You get a bigger window for aiming at the enemy before they kill you so you get real engagements

  9. From what I've learned, if you are matched with anyone with a lower rank. That lower rank is your real skill level. I've seen plenty of people on gold matched with silvers and bronze wondering why they are there and then bottom fragging the whole game

  10. 1. Aim isn't that important
    2. Bad teammates can still be good (play off teammates dumb pushes)
    3. Teamplay is important
    4. Play less = Rank up more
    5. Controller is a must have
    6. Everything else doesn't matter
    7. Crossfires are important (esp for 5 man pushes)
    8. Crosshair Placement is the Whole game
    9. Baiting teammates is really easy (to do unintentionally)
    10. Dying from the map
    11. Pushing smokes is often a bad idea
    12. Communication is really hard but really valuable
    13. You need counter strafe more (the point of counter strafing is to make yourself more difficult to hit)
    14. Don't rely on gimmicks too much
    15. Pay attention to pro play
    16. Record your games
    17. Play with people better than you (challenging
    18. Toxic players won't say anything useful
    19. You don't need to hard carry (normally)

  11. I started out abusing off angles and abilities like the 3 overpowered Breach flashes, and so on, and i actually improved my aim as i played more and more, and because i started to warm up for 30 min before playing. so… brains before flicks, i guess. Maybe it helped that i had 300 hours in CSGO before and watched a lot of pro tournaments and my game sense developed, but i got an ace with 2 breach flashes, and a faultline in a 1v5 on haven on attack because of 70% luck, 30% peeking 2 blind enemies at a time.

  12. you're playing with 4 people who are the same rank as you… me in bronze 2 playing against gold 2 and silvers almost all games, or with boosted players or with players with 100+ consistent ping, so you can't rely always on teammates, you have to be self sufficient to a point
