2021 PARALIVES EXCLUSIVE Q&A :ANIMATION, PERSONALITY, PARAMAKER, LIFE STAGES AND MORE- NEWS 2021

In the first exclusive Paralives Q&A of 2021, I asked the Paralives team YOUR questions about animation, the paramaker clothing system; personality; graphics, and more. Learn about take out in Paraives, customization, mod capability and EVEN a little hint about life stages!!

In 2020, Paralives showed us Maggie’s Loft; the parameter; more customization with the color; the reveal of Maggie and Sebastian; day and night cycles; more hints at seasons/ weather; holiday decor, animations; and a hint at gameplay, like summer activities. We all have many questions–from personality to attraction to genetics, build mode, and even questions about the open world. For now, Paralives is in early development, but it’ll be exciting to see what comes in 2021 and beyond for this emerging life simulator.

I also cover Sims 4 news, speculation, info and updates. See below for frequently asked questions about Paralives.

  1. I like where the game is going with all the possibilities they 'll offer but i just hope Paralives will still keep on the communication and this level of transparency with the players long after the release of the game.

  2. ya know, after what happened to a certain other game, now i just wanted to know what to expect when paralives do come out on day 1. last thing i want now is anyone getting blasted over missing features or lack of representation on certain aspect of life. it's not just our virtual selves that we want to create in a game, but also many artists are also drawn (heh) to recreating their OCs in games with character creators.

  3. I love the idea of having to go shopping for new clothes, that was the case in Sims 2 and made the game more realistic, as well as having real closets built into every bedroom.

  4. I’m sooo happy they changed the look of the parafolk. When I first saw Maggie I was honestly disappointed because I didn’t like the style, and character customisation is my favourite thing about life simulation games so I want them to look good. The new Maggie model is SO pretty, it looks a lot more detailed and refined whilst still keeping that cartoonish look

  5. How the hell did I miss this video, miss Erin? I guess I should subscribe, even though I skip some videos of yours.
Anyway, very good video! Beacon of hope Paralives is, even though I'm still skeptical. If they release the game, well, it's gonna be basically made and financed for community by community.
P.S. I still can't get over how good Maggie looks. First Maggie was amazing, this one is even better! They are heading the right direction.

  6. Great Q&A! I must admit I've had a "too good to be true" feeling for the past couple of months with this. Not that I deny the authenticity of the developers, more that I've not really seen much on the basics for this game (eg I've seen I can change Maggie's socks but I haven't seen anything about how Maggie was created from scratch which started to sow some doubt.)

It's great to see in this Q&A that the team are coming up with answers that seem more solid and hopefully manage our expectations. All looking good! 😊

  7. I just love that the devs actually care about us. Looking at previous clips as well, they have things that the Sims don't, and that's putting weather, etc. into the game into one, rather than buying another pack for your Sims to just experience weather or something else. I'm excited for the game to come out!!

  8. I have faith in this team, I see this as their "Sims 1", but with better understanding for where the game is going. The community must stay positive and patient, the way they are presenting the game makes it look extremely well thought of.

  9. I'm hoping that they will have an update if the game will be on console or at least for chromebook and having left handed because sims think everyone is right handed for some odd reason 😔

  10. I think based on the paras personality traits is how they should react to certain clothing. For example if they’re a perfectionist they wouldn’t want mixed-matched socks. Or how in the sims 3 the sims had a fav color, food, etc. This seems difficult but maybe paralives could have that and a section for clothing styles like alt, retro, or just simple. 🙃
