Sir i was playing competitive, i am in bronze 2 there was a guy who chose breach was doing idiotic things he is not buying only using knifes even after getting killed multiple times. Because of him may rank dropped I mean why such player even match with us 🤦🏻

We are only as good as the rank we are currently in. People who do more to get better will climb.
I watch a streamer on YouTube consistently. He along with most of his viewers are of immortal+ . I chat and they chat… a lot of interesting conceptions and tricks are shared whilst doing that. That helped me a lot mentally viewing the game.
Elo hell is definitely a thing. I'm only able to play solo queue due to time constraints. And I'm clearly able to climb up, but you take forever to climb when solo queuing. In the vast majority of games, you get a lot of weak minded people who throw or tilt nearly instantly if the game doesn't go their way.
I flex to roles 100% of the games I play. We need smokes? I play smokes. We need initiators? I'll play them. Most of the time I just play Sentinels because it's what I'm really good at, and no one ever wants to take Sentinels (maybe besides Sage).
But thinking that Elo Hell isn't a real thing is to be quite naive about the state of Valorant. Climbing up AFTER you get to Gold becomes much easier compared to climbing out of Silver. Because people finally start to talk (only a bit though), they start to coordinate, and their aim starts to be consistent.
Before that, I get the sense that no one has any game sense (bar some exceptions ofc), and they troll A LOT.
I want a rank where other players have shit aim (like me) but some kind of gamesense (like me). I'm stuck gold but have the aim of a bronze player.
I think the reason I’m not able to rank up is honestly playing with friends who don’t want to learn these simple mechanics or learn from their mistakes as well as my over peaking enemies or engagements that I don’t need to.
Speaking of playing with friends, if you’re friend is not playing their agent as expected on multiple occasions you may need to stop playing with them due to them just wanting to play just to play. It may be hard but it might be what you need to rank up. If you end up ranking up and you can’t play with them anymore, it might give them incentive to start learning the mechanical aspects of the game and agents as well as from their mistakes to be able to play with you. You shouldn’t rank down just to play with them they should be ranking up.

Around x-mas i was an iron 3 after x-max i bought a new pc now i am a gold 1 now i cant see i stand too much in the open and i have bad crosshair placement….. i know some lineups but i dont have space to do them in the game…. And i am kinda lazy to learn more
You can say low elo hell exists in all ranks, and may e that is true to some extent. However, I used to be in silver and now am currently stuck in bronze. And the quality of team mates is far superior in silver not because they are better or more skilled, but because they are more willing to play as a team and communicate. The game is SO much more fun once you can escape the hell of iron and bronze

Current gold 1. My biggest issue lately is the lack of comms and teamwork. Some games none of my teammates say anything until round 4 or 5 when they want to start being toxic.

I just can’t stand fragging out in the right elo taking an L and then playing elo above mine to go .9kd and win(don’t win em all) but it just annoying I win games bc Smurfs on my team(they’d be on the other team too and vice versa in the scenario) I’d rather win in my elo then having the 50/50 Smurf lobby where I might pop

O think Elo Hell is still a thing. Solo queuing in Iron will almost always guarantee a loss and no matter how good you are it’s always just win then lose then win then lose again. You can just never rank up istg
meta is something of a guideline like yes follow it but maybe add your own gun/strat to your "personal" meta
i want teammates that can just get kills and not put me in a constant 4v1 clutch scenario
