That was so interesting. I hope his G.P. gets on the case like NOW
I’m sure all your viewers would like a follow up on this patient if possible
Please let us know how he gets on.
Whoa, that is scary looking! To have two holes in your ear, and that one so close to the opening. I would love to see how this gets removed and cleaned up. Poor guy!
Eek
So are you selling the ear camera ?
Saw the thumbnail and you poking at it for 6 minutes only to leave it in there. I mean I get it, but that was disappointing.
I really do feel sorry for this gentleman. It’s been only 12 months since you saw him last with a recommendation to his MD for a referral to an ENT. I hope we get a follow up down the track at some stage but it will be a while I think. It’s scary to think a cholesteatoma can form so quickly. Thanks Neel. X
WHY DID YOU CUT THE VIDEO SHORT??? YOU DO THAT A LOT…..👎👎👎👎👎
Fascinating! Would love you to do a wee video showing all the diseases of the ear you talk about in your videos. I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you for every video you do x💜x
Doesn't anyone listen to the audio?! Needs to be removed by an ENT under general anesthesia…
Very interesting case and if I was that gentleman, the 1st thing I would do is find a new GP! One that cares about following up on my well being. Great job sir and ignore the trolls. Take care!
How absolutely awful for that patient. What makes this so horrific is the incompetent GP.
It's too much with the patient talking and you talking over
Where is the rest of it. You couldn't get anymore out.
What’s behind the Green door.???
I didn't realize you aren't an ENT. Darn shame this patient's GP didn't listen and now he has a much worse problem.
Hey All, there are many questions as to why the canal cholesteatoma was not removed. As per the video, this needs to be surgically removed via anaesthetic following a CT scan to assess it’s underlying extensiveness and aggressiveness. In addition, the large hole will need to be filled and plugged up post removal. It is not because I am unprofessional or unskilled or lazy as some of the comments would suggest 🤣 The client attended an ‘outpatient’ ear wax removal clinic not an operating theatre for surgery. P.S. Please don’t get mistaken for a simple dead skin plug / keratosis Obturans and a canal cholesteoma. Some titles on other videos suggest the latter when they are clearly not.
This is serious. Wow. Very interesting. The best to this patient
He needs a new GP.
I bet he’s the one who didn’t act on what he was supposed to do. You can’t make someone do something, especially when they hear it’ll have to be done under general anesthesia.
Keep us updated! If you happen to find out what happens as this pt continues treatment, I'd love to hear about his outcome. Love your channel! ❤
That looked very very serious and the the bad effects from letting this situation continue sounds horrible. Hope the patient gets his GP to listen and act. Great job Mr. Raithatha…..again!
Situations like this are why the patient should be their own advocate. When a referral is needed n not done, keep calling. I sure hope he does not have long lasting complications
This freaks me out, not simply because of how awful it looks and how painful it must be for the client, but because a person could be walking around with an issue like this and not know! Inside your ear is the one place you can’t see, so you can’t tell when you’re developing a problem, unless you have obvious pain. It’s the not knowing for me!
WHY didn’t you take that out?!?! I hate watching videos when you leave a glob in!!!
Good one, thank you! I would love to see the followup to this one.
I've had this twice still under the Consultant.
I didn't realise how serious it was. My mastiod bone completely gone did have many years ago have a metal stirrup bone put in because of this ddisease it came out.
Oh my, poor person. Thats terrible, no help for a year? BC of Covid? Looks nasty. Good luck to your patient here Dr. NR. 🙏👍
You are right. It's not worth judging when you are not in possession of all the facts, you always do a thorough job and your very professional .🙂
😱
I watched Dr.Zhao on YouTube to see how he treats this condition… In most cases I say to myself I know this patient has to be sleep… Due to how it looks as though he's scraping, pulling and digging at it… Sometimes it gets very bloody… I remember commenting on one of those cases and a woman whose son suffered from it described to me what her son experiences with this condition and how he sufferers from hearing lost … I pray that your patients Dr. Refer him to a E.N.T specialist immediately…
👏👏👏👏👏👏
It's also the patient's responsibility to get ahold of his Primary Care Doctor.
What causes erosion of the canal? That's very concerning. Love watching your videos!!
Guess who's a medical professional and who's not??
I frequently watch ur video's and can quite clearly hear u say this needs to be removed by an ENT . U are usually clear and precise in ur video's and it's no different now. Keep up the good work.
As always, thank you for taking the time to educate us as you fascinate us. Maybe the critics need THEIR ears cleaned. I clearly heard you say they need it surgically removed. Thank you for knowing the limitations for the wellbeing of your patients. Have a great weekend, Mr Raithatha💛
Oh dear makes you think Drs are not really up on how bad infections etc can get. This is seriouis. Now I'm glad I'm just deaf vs earwax. Too bad U can't send him to an ENT
Another great video!
Thank you!
If the ENT has video, you should see if they would let you post it for an update.
Oh my goodness this can truly be trouble !!!!! I said a prayer for this person !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The GP should have listen to you. Please give us a follow up video. You do such nice work and explain things wonderfully.
Wow that isn’t something I knew could even happen holy shit, hope this guy gets treated for it and the GP listens.
GP definitely dropped the ball. Poor Patient should thank his lucky stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ for WW!!
The man is a Godsend!
You’re a pioneer. Always a pleasure watching you work
Thank you for taking the time and energy to upload these videos. Haters gonna hate, and you’ll never please everyone.
You do a great job and I hope the negativity doesn’t put you off from uploading.
