I got this game today!
I've gotten in to resi because of the remake for 2. All i can remember is being a kid frustrated with tank controls, being in awe of my brothers playing the original three. I'm happy to say I've played the mainline games originals and remakes playing 7 now hoping to get knee deep into 8.
I couldn’t play the first demo with a headset… the sound design was too immersive 😂😂😂

No, they won't. Capcom has ruined this franchise completely by going first person. It all began with making them third person action games starting with 4. They should have stopped making them at 3.

It was okay but really it's where the fear was taken out and replaced with shooting.
Personally I thought the series peaked with RE2, then they remade it and perfected it

This has been such a divisive game. I will never let another opinion sway me, but one side screams the puzzles are bad, the characters are bad, so on and so forth, while the other side talks about how great all the characters are and how much fun the puzzles are. It's super weird /shrug.
