"Wave dashing"
Falcon: at #10 is wave dashing….
Slide hopping in Titanfall 2 possibly? Idk if that is a unscripted mechanic, but its very fun & useful.
bunny hopping in titanfall 2 and the original half-life
Should have used footage from the actual sf2 game.
"Here's this article from Nintendo Power where the developers didn't know about wave dashing in Melee!"
Proceeds to show an article where Masahiro Sakurai is talking to someone about Brawl
I was expecting Super Mario 64's BLJ to be number one and it didn't even get metioned. WTF.
Strafe jumping in the old school cod zombies to get to invincible spots for the dog rounds lol
Given their focus on moves that you use to get out of bounds, I’m really surprised they didn’t mention the Flying glitch from Jedi: Fallen Order
sword canceling and butterfly jumping in halo 2 to get out of the maps
Ayo falcon wheres andrew the new guy?
Not sure if unscripted, but I would add Overwatch's mercy super jump and Hammond's 180º among other things. Both are moves which are not "natural abilities" of those characters, but explotation of overwatch physics (I think, I don't really know).
You gotta do the wall bouncing in a hall to show it’s true potential
Wall bouncing in GOW 1&2 was so much fun, until everyone figured it out! My friends an I actually figured it out on our own by accident. Once you get good at it, you can dominate in online matches. Horde mode stood no chance against it!😂😂
Rogue company melee catch
Without watching, I'm guessing they missed the shoulder roll from Mirror's Edge Catalyst. The rolling animation that is actually how a practitioner of parkour (Traceur) 'would' roll when landing from a height. For motion sickness reasons they made the in-game rolling animation over the head, but the animation for a proper shoulder roll was still present for whatever reason if you press jump and crouch/slide together while moving forward.
6:54 whoever put Joel over Jack Nicholson's creepy head nod is a genius!😂😂😂
Where is Counter Strike bunny hopping? Can't believe he missed it. Come on Falcon, you're better than this 🤨
How's Naruto Storm 4 not in this list???
Would BLJ in mario 64 count?
I’m only about 3 mins into this video but it better have the wiggles from TLOU Multiplayer. If it doesn’t ima be disappointed!!
Edit:… I’m disappointed 😞
Don forget sub-strafing in Splatoon, which I still suck at…
#1 sf2 combos.. does not show any videos of sf2 or said combos. -_-
In halo 1 it wasn’t all that useful but in halo 2 it was gamebreaking insta reloads baby
You can basically create infinite combos in Killer Instinct gold by messing around with the options. Turn on the permanent super bar and turn off knockdowns. This works best with Tusk and Orchid. Do their pressure double and then immediately follow it up with a super linker. And just keep doing that. You can even get fancy with it and throw that in there as long as you don't try to use a finisher. Because your opponent won't get knocked down you can do this as long as your fingers can hold up.
Perfect Dark you move faster when strafing then you do going forwards or backwards.
No love for Wind Bomb in BOTW??
Forgot the melee/jump fly in No Man's Sky
In dying light if you jump at a zombie and press the punch button he does a "superman punch"
The Korean Backdash in Tekken could of been on here too!
Aight, so I wanna give some criticisms with this video editing of this video. Whoever was in charge of putting in clips of these moves, should have just paid/sponsored/sourced out clips to other people's videos who actually showcase the moves in a more fun presentation. Because you didn't, most of these clips looks like the first time someone's attempted these moves – which was a snorefest to watch.
Doom Meat Hook – "talks about similar comparison to Legend of Zelda Hookshot…shows a picture of Super Smash Bros Melee." Yeah I get THAT is based off the game, but a simple clip of Link using the hookshot from the N64 game would have made the comparison hit home better.
The wavedashing one, while shown in all it's simplicity, could have been more entertaining to watch with like Fox or Luigi wavedashing on/off platforms on Battlefield, or even a side-by-side comparison of how fast a character can travel horizontally compared to running.
The Gears of War one – I didn't even know what I was looking at until like 30 secs in, and then felt this was super under utilized the entire time it was shown.
Mario Kart Snaking – this was WAY more prominent in Mario Kart DS than Mario Kart 64. You also didn't show it AT ALL with your clips, just attempts at it. I also think it would have also been fun to include that Snaking also was in F-Zero GX where you would also basically do the same thing and go at insanely absurd amounts of speed.
Street Fighter 2 Combos – There….wasn't even a clip of the actual Street Fighter 2. The only reference you had to this game breaking moment in fighting game was an image and an article.
Where is thumbnail from
What about skate 3 speed gliches, not that hard to pull off after a lil bit of practice
BXR in the original Halo 2 or RRX (BR double shot)
Dropping combos in MK2
Wave Dash is back in Smash Ultimate.
I see melee. I hit like
kinda surprised they didn't mention bunny-hopping in csgo
I thought it was called an alpha cancel in Street Fighter since Street Fighter Alpha was the first one you could cancel a super move in.
Slide-hopping in Titanfall/Titanfall 2!
I clicked for the Gungrave thumbnail… got nothing…
Where's the thumbnail?
Anyone else keep hearing falcon say wave dancing?
No Warframe tho?
GoldenEye 007 look at the ground when moving will help with speed runs, especially if there is a lot of action going on if you were to look up it will allow the N64 to keep up with the game!
The roll jump in Syphon Filter Omega Strain was pretty dope. Roll and then crouch at the right time to jump twice your character's height and bypass a lot of the parts that needed online play to do so, especially when playing the game way after online services had been disabled.
where's bunny hopping?
You could swim in the air in Sekiro, too.
