  1. In some contexts, I think natural product placement can be good. Say you're making a game set in a city, in modern times. It'll feel more authentic if instead of parody products (well maybe some if they're also part of a quest) you sell the in-game billboards to companies. Like how in Homestuck the characters are fans of real pieces of media, except for when that media is related to like the HorrorTerrors. And for some legal reasons I don't entirely get you can't just gather adds and put them in your game. Of course, the devs have to be responsible about this. Don't let an entire company buy an unreasonable amount of add space just because its cheaper than it is IRL. Don't get greedy and put in more add spots than reasonable.
