  1. PS5 in both modes and Xbox Series X in both modes render at a resolution of 3840×2160 using what appears to be a form of checkerboard rendering.

Xbox Series S in both modes renders at a resolution of 2560×1440 using what appears to be a form of checkerboard rendering.

  2. I own both consoles, Series X and PS5 and a LG CX, I want to play the better version, I preordered the PS5 version bc of adaptive triggers but I’m not completely sold now that I see the comparison, which would you go for?

  3. I love how Xbox fanboys here act like they won over the PS5 because the Series X can run a demo of RE8 at 60 FPS even though it was drooping frames lol Not to mention this isn’t the actual full game lol It’s a DEMO 😂😂

  5. Currently played it on the xbox one x and it ran surprisingly well with decent texture and detail quality!! Just shows you that game companies can optimize a game well once they put in the adequate time and effort into it

  6. so for ray tracing the ps5 and series x seem fine but the series s is just not it run it without RT, 60 fps is much more worth it then better lighting but with 35 to 45 frames

  8. In case anyone wondering ps5 version is Ps4 pro version running at 1800p 60fps like all other Ps4 pro ports. Unless Devs willingly downgrade the ps5 version almost all multiplats look and run better on ps5. Xsx has low amount of ram av for gaming 9g vs 13.5g for ps5. Not to mention a super slow ssd and an inferior gpu

  9. Sad state of affairs that I knew I'd be forced to spend £1300 on a new VRR TV. Granted many last gens weren't locked 60's, but now that such TV's are out in the wild, I'm expecting many games to be v-sync juddering between 50 and 60 with developers and game reviewers say "buy a new TV then peasant, don't blame us". I bought an LG CX but it's a disgrace that it's come to that. Shame for PS5 as the lack of VRR combined with many games failing to hold lock, forces me to buy on my Series X. I usually play RE games on Playstation (tradition since the original RE!!!) but this will be my first on Xbox.

  10. I am pretty sure almost no one can see any difference between PS5- and SeriesX-versions in real life while playing. And in this game you will have big problems seeing difference between Raytracing on or off too… It is very subtle.

  11. I'll tell you guys, PlayStation and Microsoft work togheter, look at the console performance, nearly the same, they clearly are in touch, After 8 years they come up with equal machines, it's all planned
