Mermaids? Man O’ War? Microtransactions? // Sea of Thieves 2021
Today we’re going to look at all the content that will be coming, the content that may be coming and the content that will not be coming in Sea of Thieves 2021. We have a few confirmed pieces for Season 1, such as the Plunder Pass and a new Merchant Voyage. There have been many hints as to what is coming and my biggest prediction will be mermaids, most likely being more hostile. I would love for the Captaincy Update to come too and a larger Man O’ War, yet I think that’s quite unlikely.
Let’s hope 2021 can set the record straight for Sea of Thieves. It has been touted as the biggest year for Sea of Thieves, so let’s hope it beats the fantastic first year of updates. And please, more Flameheart!

There could be a glacial curse because of the glacial curse pets because there is gold curse and ashen curse pets both curses are already in the game
Maybe they could add the Man o War for a new Grand Maritime Union world event, with huge fleet battles at the end of each season, Pirates Uniting in each server to defend the Sea of Thieves. Just an idea

I want a working hit reg #rarefixhitreg good combat system #rarenurfthesword and good arena #raresavearena all these fixes or additions would be better than some pve updates.when was the last PvP updates that mostly focused on PvP not pve. Clue there was none in 2020 I have been playing this game for a year on Sunday 10th January 2021 I would have hade this game for a year
do you think we’ll have an actual civilization/town type location? kind of like how saint denis was in red dead but a 1600s-looking version? they could easily just change a large island that isn’t used much or just add one if it’ll interfere with voyages too much.
If rare doesn't fix hit reg in the next year I will bash my head against a wall because of the stupidity "we have a hole team working on fixing hit reg" rare said this before ashen winds

Skelly brigantines, sloop and brigantine shipwrecks… If they recycle assets, they might aswell diversify existing content…
To be honest, I feel Sea of Thieves have been dead for the last year and some change. Seas was uber fun when it came out. But after practically zero content other than just grinding to max out the alliances. It got stale rather quickly. And for them to do a battle pass model with a "season 1" YEARS after its initial release tells me that they're going to GTA 5 this game. I just can't find myself playing this game again for one reason. Assassins Creed Valhalla. Great video as always man. Keep it up!

I think mermaids are very likely, the devs have hinted at them for a while now, I think an expansion on Athena’s Fortune will happen one day (hopefully sooner than later), and also with the Seasons, I really want those awesome cinematic trailers to return
I’m happy they’re going back to longer waits between updates because I’d rather have larger scale updates than lots of small, recycled content. As you mentioned, Season One will probably be smaller scale, but considering that in the UK, everyone is back in lockdown and working from home again, it’s a miracle Rare delivered so many world events and other content this year
When does Season One launch?
I would love to see underwater content. Example: evil mermaid encounters, hidden areas under the sea and fishing harpoon (hand held)
Something small that I would love to see is lanterns for ship customization. Any seasoned pirate has probably already spotted you, even if all your lights are off, so why bother with that. I would totally sail around fully lit, if I could buy kraken lanterns, or open flame brazier… but its an obscure enough thing that I don't think I will ever see it in game

I legit thought this guy was gonna be talking about mermaids existing in 2021 lol
what if… they just upped how many there could fit on the galleon? Like if you could load in 6 or 8 people on the galleon and then in tern could load in 4-5 on the brig and up to 3 on the sloop. that would make the game very different

Rare needs to add a back to ship feature like a button you can press and you go back to ur ship like a mermaid, it could be in the menu thing like the my crew and scuttle ship place, because mermaids suck
Things this game needs:
-Better sword atk animations, no more slow and innoccent hits, it's a sword fight, make it faster
-Stamina
-Perks • Swim faster
•faster reload on weapons except cannons
-Being able tu run with treasures in ya hands
-being able to use your sword if you have a small thing in the other hand, skull, goblet, emerald etc
-Customize the inside of your ship, before leaving a port. Move those god deamn barrels, and keep the map closer to you.
WEAPONS:
Muschet
Dagger-fast atk, low dmg
Rappier-fast atk, low dmg,longer reach
Spear-great reach, very slow atk
Parry-hold m2 and pres m1, when the sword is about to hit ya, stuns the enemy hits for 0.75 sec, and drains ya stamina, wich will make you slower on hitting
The god deamn candy island, with flapjack on it.

Zombies
Whales
Got deamn mobidic, dickimoe i don t even know if i write their name corectly, but u got the idea

Swords deal more dmg like 35
Add poison, wich you can take it from snakes and throw it on players
