There should be an option to jack into the ship if you have 20 intelligence or something, so you forcefully make the AI accept you, so you can GTFO.
Maybe in that route, you and Jackie get attacked by an Arasaka airship on the way back, you both fall out of it, with Jackie landing in a location separate from you. You then make it back to Dex, and the same events take place. Only this time, when you wake up in your apartment room, you get a message to meet up with Jackie. When you meet, he has a new cyber-arm, courtesy of Vic. He explains he was badly wounded by the Saka' troops that tailed him, and he barely made it back to Dex's place, but never went inside because he saw your unconscious body being dragged into Dex's car, and didn't have the strength to save you. To avoid Dex's wrath, he went to Vic's clinic, then laid low at Misty's for a while (since she rarely has people visit her shop).
He then tells you that this gig was the tipping point, and he's going to retire from being a merc to instead work with his mom at El Coyote Cojo. You can then visit him and do a few side quests from him too.
It's a shame that something like that doesn't exist though.
I hate and love videos like this because it shows Jackie wasn't necessarily supposed to always die but they made it the only path forward to get the game out by a deadline.
You should really be able to hack into the AV and get the fuck out of there. You could still be attacked in a bad-ass airfight scene where you'd crash on a street, chip damaged needing to be plugged into jackie, and delamain could save you but with Jackie dying; same outcome but a better choice.
Honestly, I was more interested in having T bug as the voice in my head rather than Silverhand. She seemed like a more interesting character. Silverhand's character was just really flat and un-relatable; Got tired of his cynical expositions regarding every situation and its corollary to society.
Is everyone here an idiot? Piling on the game for no reason just because. I hardly think this was cut content, I think they couldn't write out a proper story that ensures Jackie surviving. It would've changed the course for the rest of the game. If they had managed to write him out after he survived then they'd call it lazy writing. If CDPR had disabled access to the roof and made the game more linear, people would whine even more. Gamers are such crybabies.
That would've been epic if you could get to the AV and escape that way. Saving Jackie, giving the relic to Dex, not having Johnny in your handsome. Would've been a carzy different playthrough. They could still implement the relic getting into you somehow, but maybe in a different way with a different outcome. Still cool to think about
This is that moment when you start thinking that you better than Cd-reds by entering capsule from edge, but reds have game patches for you…
No option to save the big cheese?
Its things like this that show how unfinished this game truly is
Poor t bug wasn't in the game that long
you all are not thinking that maybe he did not trigger the sequense because he kill both guards without a supresor or stealth at all

looks like cut content
I'm just upset that my dumbass missed that suck katana
I went back later during Act 2 and I could pick up both 🤷🏻♂️
just imagine if this has a different outcome… that's some witcher shit right there. what a wasted opportunity.

If this is some other CRPG game, V would have options to hack the AV provided with high enough intelligence or hacker skill

When I did this in my play through the game crashed
Had no idea you could do that after all this time really sucks you cant legit escape by the AV by using some netrunner skills to hack it.
This game definitely needed another year this could have been the option where jackie survives.
I swear there must've been a blueprint for this mission having V (with at least Corpo life path) fly off to get away.
Jackie: “Element of surprise V. I got a relic to protect.”
V: “SO ANYWAY I STARTED BLASTIN’!”
Typical cyberpunk. The illusion of choice to mask the fact that all outcomes are inevitable and pre-determined.
With Jackies voice actor offering to reprise his role, I hope they do a dlc where you escape in saburos AV
Why didn't you use the scanner on the AV and the thing you couldn't pick up…
I could never get that dam briefcase
i thought i could prevent jackies death
Even if you somehow hack arasaka AV, tracking system can't remove safety without hi crafting skills.
Unsafe remove will causing damage to autopilot, need some one to rule AV.
Need to fight in air combat. Where you need to open door. Jackie and biopod catch bullet, history will repeat.
After chase, need to change transport to delamein taxi again.
Because AV take have heavy damage, track system, easy to spot.

We really need a few things,
First: The option to merge V with Johnny silver hand into a single entity, and Johnny becoming an inner monologue.
Second: The option to save Jackie through pre heist preparations or the roof vehicle.
Third: Jackie or V take in the relic with same option of merging with JS down the line.

Plan B is dlc maybe
