It looks like the deal is officially done with Microsoft acquiring Zenimax and Bethesda with an event reportedly being set for the week to talk about the future of Bethesda games. Capcom had a stream presenting some new updates for Monster Hunter Rise and Stories 2 both of which are releasing this year with a new demo even coming out this week for Rise.

As for Apex Legends performance running on Switch: big OOF. The ayers running at 30fps will be at a disadvantage compared to the other consoles when playing crossplay. Sucks I guess

Bethesda games will release on Playstation when games like God of War or Horizon release on Xbox. Other than their MMO and the games Sony bribed Bethesda to make timed exclusives already.

I usually wait at least a year to buy next gen consoles (I'm glad I did with the 360). My wife surprised me with a PS5 she got through a business contract last fall. It's the most disappointing console I have ever obtained. I just put it on one of my display shelves for now, awaiting the fixes that with hopefully come down through the next year or so. When the restock at Target occurs, my advice folks is to be patient and don't waste your time and money.
Once a character like Spider-Man, who has been well known for generations, and was always multi-platform, became a PlayStation exclusive nothing surprises me about exclusives anymore.

I think Microsoft will unlikely reveal all their plans at this event but, long term, they’ll make the AAA games 1 year exclusive on Xbox and then release to other consoles. Best of both worlds. Exclusivity and wider possibility of revenue with eventual sales on other platforms.
EA is the company that they will look into what countries allow Lootboxes and which ones they don't.
Those who ban them, EA will just not release the game there and IP block and release the game everywhere else.

The poll should of had a third option. I think Bethesda games will be timed exclusives. Probably 1 year on Xbox in some form and when the hype settles they will release on other platforms (such as Playstation) to get a higher return on investment
