  1. AGAIN the game breaking bugs and poor performance affects legacy consoles for the most part. Proving once again this game should never have been released on last gen consoles.

As for the NRG nerfing…I wish there were no NRG at all. This game tries to be too many things at once and fails at most of them. That coming from someone who a) loves the game overall(I play on PC) and b) Knows everything about the series of three TTRPGs(2013, 2020 and 3.0) this game's lore comes from. So much potential for such a poor execution.

  2. It took four years to build the game to the state in which it released, so it's not surprising to me that it will take more than six weeks to squash those bugs and get performance acceptable on last gen consoles. I think their immediate focus is getting it back on the Playstation store. Perhaps they shouldn't have told people to ask for refunds before running by someone from Sony… big oops.

  3. Playing on PC for around a month now. I'm using a year old Asus ROG laptop. Before the patch my game never lagged at all. After the latest patch I've noticed some pretty hefty lag. If I save and reload it will go away but for the most part I have to agree the patch seems to have made it worse.

  4. This game makes me sad, not because I dislike it, but because I love it and want it to succeed, CDPR is making mistakes, and at the same time the community is assaulting CDPR mercilessly, nobody wins basically, and that makes me sad.

  6. Playing on PC the only thing I've noticed different since the patch is that suddenly there are random cars falling from the sky or crashing & going up into the air. I'd seen that happen a couple of times in the badlands before the patch but now it's happening everywhere. Seems a rather odd thing to have changed but yeah, flying cars in that patch.

  7. You know there's one fundamental truth that people are forgetting very easily. These things pretty much boil down to us, consumers, and how we perceive what we expect and get. We tend to forget that on the other side, there's not an automated production line creating software code for us, but people. People that have lives affected by what the heck is going on in the world right now. I don't want to defend CDPR because I also feel they should simply have delayed the launch AND not come out on last gen consoles, but honestly, all the people playing on those consoles also wanted their bite at the Cyberpunk universe and I can not blame them for that. So on the other hand, if we are a little bit more compassionate about people developing a game and try to understand the pressure WE have put on them, then if WE threw a little less trash at them in so many instances – like all youtubers joined the hate bandwagon pretty fast – I think that not doing so would have been way better for all of us. Last thing that helps now is to make CDPR focus on other things, than fixing issues. I love this universe they have created and love how the game ended up, promises missed or not. I am confident that it will be expanded upon later, at least I hope so strongly. So start talking about what's good (because there's plenty of that too) and be a bit more forgiving about what's bad. The whole experience will be way better for you and for us as well. I sure hope more content creators would understand that and start doing accordingly. Pouring hatred on something and trolling is way too easy, but doesn't feel right per se. I think what they did with the refunds is a correct way of dealing with the issues. You're not satisfied? You get your money back. End of story. If you still hang on to the game, then don't complain as things will get resolved and ironed out, but from that moment on, YOU chose to wait, so be patient. How many games come out crippled with bugs that are just that annoying? A lot, I have seen a lot. Did the developers get hammered for that? Maybe a little, but not this much. Games get more and more complex and our expectations get higher and higher, but we forget that people have their limitations, and there, CDPR is no exception I'm pretty sure.

  8. I stopped playing weeks ago even though I only had a few problems. I’m on Xbox one. I was going to wait for the patch and now that it’s introduced some loot bugs I guess I’m waiting for the next patch. I’ve been having a blast playing so far since the minor bugs and crashes haven’t stopped me from fun.

  9. if I could roll back to 1.06 on my platform – I would. 1.1 completely killed this game. FPS fell significantly. glitches and bugs appeared. I was banned on the official forum for the idea of downloading 1.06 back from somewhere else, since the technical support did not provide a rollback mechanism (on my platform). it is generally clear that cdrp did not attract testers. "fixing" one bug that I have never encountered turned into multiple bugs in my game that spoil my gaming experience. sad. anyway, I don't see the point in playing 1.1.
the game has been removed until better times.

  10. The only really good work in this game is from the artists (city design, character, weapon and car design, and good music).
The engine has impressive lighting and shaders, but obviously sucks in streaming and script execution (lot of bugs in the missiondesign).
AI coding is terrible. And the gamedesing not that outstanding either. The writing is ok, but not on the level of Witcher 3.

  11. I’m playing on the PS5, Idk if anyone is having this problem but every time I park my car before a cutscene or a mission I come back and the front of the car is floating.. took a few screenshots. I just thought it was funny..

  12. I was playing on ps5 and finished the story, after the patch..got to the credits and it kept crashing at Misty’s part.
Also, I couldn’t even equip my guns or anything after the patch too. Had to go see a joy toy, finish that and then it allowed me to take out my guns.
(Before the patch, I rarely had any bugs.)

  13. You literally can't even see over the dashbaord of some cars in this game. I had 2 playthroughs and honestly, even if they had every bug fixed I probably wouldn't return. The game is mediocre at best and laughable compared to Witcher 3, RDR2, and other actual RPGs. Although they did a switcheroo right before release and labeled this as an action adventure.

  14. I play on medium spec PC and there are weird trees popping from a distance below ( i was at a balcony). This never happened in previous patches. Yes 1.1 did not make things better. I suggest you guys wait until the end of 2021.
