Today we have some pretty crazy news as Sony has officially announced it is removing Cyberpunk 2077 from sale on the PlayStation store and will be giving refunds to anyone who requests one. Cyberpunk has garnered a lot of negative attention for the state it launched in on the Ps4 and Xbox One and even has trouble on the PS5 and Xbox Series X but this has reached a new level as Sony literally never does this.

  1. Wow, who would have expected to be hearing this news about Cyberpunk 2077 after launch. I think it's the right call, the line has to be drawn somewhere and Sony is trying to make it clear that broken games won't be sold on their storefront. Big AAA games don't get a pass.

  2. Good day, hope everyone is having a great blessed day, if you haven't already, be sure to Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour Romans 10:9. He's Coming Real Soon, Peace, Love, and God Bless.

  3. So far I have not had any issues with cyberpunk.

Are all these issues after a certain part of the game or something?

I done the first 2 missions and then have just been exploring the city. Doing the random event stuff, killing gangs etc.

  4. Sony had no choice realistically. You can’t spend millions on planning and promoting the release of a next-gen console that solely operates through digital downloads and then publicly wash your hands if the content you are flogging on your site has proven to be shite. We game consumers are not (that) stupid. For Sony to absolve themselves of any responsibility would harm future PS5 console sales and fundamentally create an atmosphere of mistrust which is toxic in terms of business. Sony’s QA people need to be taken behind the bike sheds and slapped about a bit though for letting this get released.
Just my thruppence worth. I don’t have a PS5 yet, but rest assured, it’ll be the one that takes discs (when I eventually source one).

  5. Would be very glad if I could get a refund for my copy of cyberpunk. Unfortunately I got physical copy. Would not even give it away for free, so disappointed I am with Cyberpunk. Cdprojekt red really did a bad one for gamers on ps4 and xbox.

  6. Personally I haven't been having to many issues with Cyberpunk 2077 in it's current state..been playing it since lunch day on a base Xbox One, I have encountered several bugs but they've only been graphical & physics related stuff so far & nothing too major and game breaking..so I've been able to so far look past the bugs and still enjoy playing the game… It reminds me of playing Skyrim on the Xbox 360 where despite its many bugs was still a solid game..and I feel it's the same here with Cyberpunk 2077..BUT..with that being said I do understand people's frustration & anger..I mean this problem of games essentially being broken upon release has been a constant problem throughout the entire 8th console generation especially from companies like EA, ACTIVISION & Bethesda being the worst offenders out of a long list of companies and even longer list of games..so feel that unless your willing to push through Cyberpunk 2077 knowing it's a buggy mess but that aside there's a solid game beneath the surface & knowing that CDPR is working hard over the next several months to fix it..then yeah maybe this is one game some people should wait a few months to play until after it's in a more stable state..I'm surprised Sony is pulling it from their digital store but it's completely understandable and I think this is maybe a good decision on Sony's part..with any luck this will serve to send a clear message to game development & publisher companies that people are pissed and have had enough of this Shaddy ass bullshit way of running their companies and basically slapping us gamers in the face..maybe they'll finally get the hint that us gamers won't put up with this bullshit any longer… we've been burned way to many times throughout the entire 8th console generation and going into the 9th generation.. it needs to stop.. companies need to start making sure their games are actually finished before they release them, if they need to be delayed then delay them, If 8th gen versions need to be cancelled and the game being turned into a next gen exclusive because it's broken on last gen hardware then do it…they need stop dicking gamers around like they've been getting away with doing the last several years!!…

  7. This is great news.
This shitshow of a release is one of the worst in modern times.
I remember when reviewers gave medicore ratings to days gone because of that one worked at launch.
Days gone was a masterpiece of release compared to this shitshow of a game, yet, they truly tried to praise this game above all else haha. What a joke.

  8. CDPR CEO top buffs are the issue so no sympathy from me for them but the general devs I feel for they've been kicked in the nads by their superiors and that's totally not excepted,I be telling them to stick their job where the sun don't shine and be looking for a new team to join where I'm appreciated.

  9. This isn't just CDPR. It's the game "Industry" in general. When gaming became accepted and mainstream money became the sole reason for making games. There really is no respect from the big publishers/developers to their customers.

  10. Honestly, I don't see the rage on this one. Literally damn near every large scale game has had bad bugs and graphical glitches at launch. Those issues are also not effecting everyone. We as consumers have allowed this with Bethesda & other companies by buying games from them repeatedly with issues at launch. Witcher 3 had bugs at launch but it was still amazing. Same situation here. This shit literally always happens. You are being disingenuous.
