  1. It's crazy to see a team that barely made final lobby, that was farmed by NRG during groups, and called dog shit easy kp by their peers, just won. TSM is tilted off the face of the Earth. Great showing by C9

  2. I’m guessing RNG thought only SSG had match point. They made the decision to wipe SSG and allow the other team to win. If they knew KNG was also on match point perhaps they’d have fought for control over KNG’s bubble, or at least the side of it that provides cover from SSG.

If there is a lesson to be learned, it’s to pay attention and know exactly what teams are on MP and if you don’t, come late games like game 9, play for the win.

  3. Happy for bottom 20, but kind of makes you think their should be a change to how champion is crowned. I'd make the match point threshold a little higher at either 65 or 70, or just scrap the whole match point / need a victory to win thing and just go off like 8 matches highest points wins.

  4. Congrats to Bottom 20 for taking home the victory there!

I've never watched competitive Apex before, but that having to reach a certain number of points and then win seems like it'd suck massively to have to suffer through. Is there a good reason I'm missing as to why they do that? Seems like it kind of just falls to whoever gets lucky enough to manage a win somehow, rather than who's performing overall.
