  1. Battlezone for the 2600 was one of their real triumphs. How they made it play so well was a miracle. I had 3/4 or more of those 2600 games you showed! I can't figure out whether you made me young or old.

  2. ET wasn't the worst game for the Atari 2600. There were much worse games. A real contender for that dubious honor was Firefly by Mythicon. It felt like someone's high school computer class project and when you died, it flipped you off. I am not kidding.

  3. That thing you found that you called a "heartbeat detektor" is a microphone you should attache to a handset of an old stationary telephone to record the call! Oh! you lucky you! 😂
The only thing you had to do was to lick on the (in youre case dryed up) rubber, and then attache it to the rear side of wher the loudspeaker sitts on the handset. I advice you to not do it thoe. God knows how much nasty viruses that it may contain. However! After all it is a michrophone. You can probably sing something to us if you whant. 😂

  5. Far and away Stampede! Man i love that game. I actually have my award patch from Activision. You had to send in a Polaroid of the high score to get your "Trail Master" patch. Great Video!

  6. My childhood is a box! My favorite Atari 2600 game was Tunnel Runner, with Pitfall 2 – The Lost Caverns a close second. I still have my original Atari 2600, Intellivision, Original NES, & Sega Genesis. Those Tele-Games was the Atari 2600 Made for Sears, & the systems were silver instead of the wood grain. I remember going to Toys-R-Us, K-B Toys, Kmart, & Sears to buy games. Thanks Ron, & Joe for the walk down memory lane, but still waiting for that Bally Night Rider Pinball Series!👍

  7. Ah yeah. This is why they're called "Joe's classic video games" and not just Donnie's arcade repairs :). Awesome classics here. And look at that intellivision now that's old school. Wow they sure didn't take care of their console

  8. WOW does this take me back…WAY BACK. Intellivision, Colecovision, Atari 2600, PONG (That's what started it for me), then I learned about "Spacewar!" and thus began my desire to learn more about computers. I think I was about 7 years old. Yea, early 70's. Loved it all. Always said if I hit the lottery my house would have a full blown arcade in it. All old school to "new school" games.

  9. Omg! That was so amazing to see even the Atari games still boxed. Man it would be fun to play those. I never owned a intelevision, but my dad owned a Atari 800 back in the day and I loved playing the classics. Joust, Dig Dug, Pac-Man, Star Raiders, Lode Runner, and Jumpman.

Also there were a few other games I played from my Grandparents place. They had Donkey Kong, Pitfall!, Tumble Bugs, and Jumpman Jr.

This video gave me an idea to play through all the ones that came out at the time I was born. Which was the good old year of 1983. X3

  10. Joust would be my favorite. I still play it a ton but first had it on our Atari 800. BurgerTime is one I always think of when I think about games as a kid. My grandparents had it for their TI-99.
