About this game-
Europe in the early Middle Ages — Nobles and clergy rule and the trade between nations brings prosperity as well as envy, distrust, and greed. Military conflict is everywhere and entire continents are changing.

In Medieval Dynasty, you take on the role of a young man who has fled from war and wants to take his fate into his own hands. From being alone, inexperienced and poor you will develop into a master of many skills, a leader of your community and the founder of a prosperous dynasty which is meant to last and prosper for generations to come. Defending against wild animals while hunting for food, gathering resources and crafting equipment, building a house and erecting a whole bustling village while founding a family all contribute to a unique gameplay experience across many genres. Tough winters and unexpected events challenge your skills and dexterity as you strive to build your own legacy.

You can choose to follow the main chapters, solve the questlines or just roam around and explore the vast medieval world – but be careful as wolves or bears may try to take a bite from you… Begin with the simplest things for your own survival like hunting and farming as well as building yourself a home. Found a family and have a heir – entice others to live near and work for you, erect many other buildings to transform your settlement into a vibrant village and, ultimately, a thriving dynasty that will reign for generations.

A massive medieval open 3D world awaits… Be aware of harsh winters and unexpected events while honing your skills to turn from a medieval survivor into the ruler of a dynasty. Grab your axe, hammer, or hunting bow – and craft your legacy!
Medieval Dynasty is a unique combination of multiple successful genres:

Simulation: Create tools and weapons, construct and extend houses, stables and all manner of buildings as you grow an empire.

Strategy: While pioneering in the Middle Ages you will found and expand a village, manage the inhabitants, collect resources and produce all the goods you need and use or capitalise by trading them.

  2. just an FYI, the cooking pot thing within the house can be used in two ways. If you open the radial menu while looking at the cauldron/pot, it shows the options to cook the more complex recipes. However, if you light the fire and open the radial menu while looking at the fire-pit or coals portion it will show you the simpler cooking recipes like roasting meat and such (similar to the options that the simple campfire has).

  3. I was interested in this game so checked your stream, then you say you are a big D&D fan and will play Baldurs Gate even if it gets no views.

"If the channel does okay then it does okay, if it doesn't do good then it doesn't do good, because those people who appreciate those games will show up eventually."

Well here I am and I too love D&D, quite happy about the amount of D&D, pathfinder and tabletop games in general coming out the past few years. Pathfinder 2E is looking quite interesting too.

  4. I've built an entire house and still had a lot of durability left on the hammer and then, I've had it break during construction. I think it's due to using the hammer more than the section requires. IE: If you're whacking on the section of wall and don't have all the required resources, it eats up durability. I could be wrong, but will pay more attention in the future to see.

  6. Your hammer broke that fast cause you were hitting the wall when there was nothing to add to it. YOu need to stop hammering at the right moment. So you were wasting its durability. My first hammer build my first house and half hunting lodge

  7. 1:01:20 your skillset.. HAHA… Crouch and approach from side slightly behind. Get like 15 feet away. You dont have to throw from so far away. Straight shot to the head/neck is 1 shot kill to Doe, Boar, and Fox. Bucks are 2 shots. 1 head 1 anywhere. On becks, after first shot to head they run very slow. The buck you hit once was not in the head so it was running faster.

  8. I’m really enjoying your play-through. First time I’ve come across one of your videos. I was prompted to comment when you received the fur clothes. (Now I know where to find them.) The leather, fur and meat was added to your inventory when you killed that wisant. Nice going. I’ve only killed deer and foxes, starting the second day of autumn, first year, in my game.

  9. Crafting a bunch of stuff to sell is not exploiting the game. You're gathering the resources, using said resources to craft tools, you travel into town to sell said tools and you make purchases that you need to survive and grow.
    You're providing a service.
It's only an exploit if during anyone of those steps you do something in a way that was never intended like using the storage chest in dragon age inquisition to duplicate expensive items to sell.
Besides its a good bet that the more of an item the shop has the lower its value will become.

  10. easy money exploit there is a tool shead before the first town you can go in you can steal the tool in there to make the tools not stolen you just equip them then remove then they will be safe to sell
