  1. Video TL:DR – Physical is going to look VERY good in the coming patch with the new set and the Spiral Abyss buffs.
And an add-on – Physical DMG characters are going to shine especially in Floor 11 thanks to the Slowing Water debuff, which hurts RXN comps more because, well, they're mostly gated behind Skills and Bursts, which are susceptible to said debuff.

  2. Honestly I would invest in Razor or Eula only for Physical damage.
Jean would also be good, but just because she's so flexible (and she can yeet enemies).
I think even with the buff only Razor and Eula will look "impressive" doing Physical.
Indeed Elemental Reactions are OP, and Physical often means giving up a lot in terms of elemental reactions.
Not sure about physical Keqing and Xynyan, especially if using 4* weapons…
That said, Xynyan definitely looks crazy strong with a Skyward Pride.

  3. don't think people's that willing to invest in brand new characters when their existing ones have been working just fine. The most they'll do is to make their old team work in the new abyss.

  5. Characters who don't rely much on their skill/ult or characters with short cooldown are basically unaffected by the new abyss, so ning klee albedo and ganyu. Ganyu still gonna be the best character for abyss

  6. Can't wait to see how stupidly high I can make Razor's damage look with all of these buffs. I think my current record is ~40k crits with normal attacks on floor 11 against a single target with the previous Abyssal Moon buff that increased damage a ton but then decreased the buff for each enemy in the aura.

As someone with Razor as one of my best built characters it'll be nice being able to actually use him on floor 12 instead of being forced to completely rely on non-physical elements because of the stupid ruin enemies with their insane physical resist.

Funny thing is we won't even actually see the most impressive of max damage out of Eula right away at least because her skill levels will be so restricted by the new Weekly Boss talent drops.

  7. Noelle Physical Set for new meta
You MUST have Skyward Pride in order to do the build. Skyward Pride passive fires a physical blade 8 times. Those blades takes into account the def conversion of Noelle when on ult. Meaning you'll be attacking with Noelle with a whopping stat of 5k attack stat of just pure physical damage.

You'll need 2 piece bloodstained and 2 piece of the new physical set.

I've already tried the build and it's super fun when also adding super conduct into the mix. Do about 30k per swing.

  8. I would say that many people are sleeping on the fact that units like Rosaria & Eula are way better in a hybrid way with boosting both of their elemental and phys dmg than simply building them straight forward to one of these.

Rosaria is the perfect example here. Literally half of your on field time dmg is cryo thanks to your E + Q DoT, yet many people say build her only phys or only cryo. My hybrid Rosaria deals almost double dmg compared to full phys and full cryo builds, cause both of her dmg sources dealing ALMOST as much dmg as a pure phys/cryo does.

You just have to form a good team to let this work, and Eula is gonna be the same.

  9. i was really hoping for an extra boss fight at the end of the spiral abyss or new floors, but itโ€™s the same rewards just probably more difficult unless you have a lot of phys dps and hydro and electro shield shredders

  10. Actually worried with the new abyss, i got 9 characters built and they are perfect for the current abyss because they rely on their E and Q to deal the most damage possible, and they can do quickswap too, but 2/3 of them have 12+ sec cooldown which is worrying because 2/3 of my character roster are actually unusable in the next abyss because of slowing water. And i really dont have any physical set artifact nor physical DPS character ready

  11. I already had 4 piece bloodstained for my jean. Now Ill go 2 bloodstained 2 pale flame. Can't wait to farm them. (plus if i get zhongli with the primos i've saved up I can use the milileeth items for him and maybe de the 2 piece for hu tao)

  12. So a very specific temporary change in a dungeon stage a lot of people wont reach care to reach, in an instance a lot of people don't care to play is considered a meta shift?
    Grasping at straws much?
