  1. I prefer playstation over xbox but don't care it's coming out on xbox.If i had the time to play a 3rd console I would probably buy a xbox. I decided to buy a switch instead because of being portable and it's so different.

  2. Wouldn't call 2k inept at making anything but basketball games lol.

NFL 2k5 is WIDELY regarded as the greatest football game of all time, has actually yearly leagues and communities built around it to this day and countless videos on YouTube about how good it was.

They stopped making it because EA signed a deal with the NFL to stop them.

  3. I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this but….. I believe both consoles are equal to each other and none are superior than the other (I know huge shocker). Not only is the console war cringy but each console is different. This can be seen with both of the consoles different appearances which can bring different customers. Not only that but each consoles has their good exclusives like God of War for Playstation, Halo for Xbox and other wonderful games. My final thing to say is that the consoles have their own pros and cons like ps5's adaptive triggers that feel nice but can break depending on how its used. For Xbox I can only name the benefits for Xbox 360 since I believe its the best example. The Xbox 360 introduced avatars which I remember baffled me and made me happy that I can express my own character with my favorite games like Halo. That's only my opinion though and everyone has their right to their own opinions.

  6. Fuck MLB. id rather watch baseball instead, atleast i can fully enjoy getting toasted as the home team cheats their ass off….but when is Sony gonna get an Xbox exclusive like say Halo?…or Gears of War??….or KILLER INSTINCT??? As it stands, Sony is the one losing more titles as years pass, while Xbox hasn't shared shit but lies. RE, Tekken, Metal Gear Solid, and GTA where all Sony exclusives that are on Xbox now….

  7. This isn’t the first game of Sony’s to come to other platforms. What about Detroit and Horizon?

Wait what? You think console exclusives should still be a thing? I don’t agree. If more games were available on other platforms that would be a dream come true.

  8. This is not a big story. It’s a licensed baseball game and if the sales are poor in a couple of years which I expect it will go back to the way it has been. Sony didn’t take MLB The Show PS exclusive just because they wanted to snatch the game from Xbox. MLB games have always sold low volumes of units. Keeping the cost of development, marketing and promotion low helped to keep baseball video game development viable. If it sells well Sony gets more money to improve the game and possibly expand it maybe even to include Japanese and Korean baseball leagues. Sony would also have more money for other PlayStation development.

Xbox S/X/S launch sales appear to not have eclipsed Xbone launch sales globally. Stadia has collapsed so you can expect the same thing for xcloud and if Sony rolls out a Game Pass competitor, primarily for third party games, which they are apparently in the process of working out Xbox has a ton more problems to worry about then a baseball game.

  9. I don't think anyone should be upset about this. Lol people don't usually even mention this when they list exclusives, so why not make it multiplatform. It's a generic sports game just like Madden and NBA2K.

  10. As a playstation enthusiast I have no problem with first sports games being on other systems. But anything more than those I have a problem with. Perhaps a game like Dreams would be good for cross platfirm to increase it's audience. Exclusives are a good thing. They create the ecisystem, the soul of the platform if you will. They are crucial for sales and the identity of a platform. As for xbox dethroning Sony sneakily, it's not going to happen. Sony is well aware of everything Microsoft is doing and has a plan to counter it. Ps Now is getting inproved vastly year over year. There are over 300 games you can download from it and over 900 games overall. To me it is better than Gamepass as it doesn't harm the industry by releasing multiple new games day and date for 15 bucks, thus lowering the perceived value of games in the eyes of some gamers. As far as Microsoft buying Bethesda, it honestly won't make much of a difference in the console wars as Bethesda just isn't the company they used to be. Their games take forever to release and they are filled to the brim with bugs. Sony two huge adantages up their sleeves to combat Microsoft. Number one is that thet have arguably the best first part game developers in the industry. And most of them were created organically, through natural growth and evolution. Which has advantages over just buying up studios and foisting the new corporate ethos on them. This often doesn't jibe. Secondly Sony and the playstation brand in particular is highly regarded in people's minds. It has stayed ranked at number 2 for over a decade in the brand loyalty/affinity category. People think very highly of Sony and Playsation. Ehich is not true for Microsoft. Anyhow I really love your channel, keep up tge great work.

  11. Could the game now being cross-platform be the main cause (aside from the pandemic) for the delayed release.
Usually info on the game starts coming out during the World Series. It’s already February and all we have is a cover athlete and price.
What worries me about making it cross platform, especially during a next-gen console launch year, is the devs not utilize certain features that the PS/Xbox has.

The games the past few yrs have been, pretty much a roster update. Hardly any new features, devs seemed to have focused on the money making game mode (ala EA Sports’ FUT MUT) Diamond Dynasty.
