The in-game start date for the episode was the 2nd of Syndestar 836. Sam’s flask says “Cloudy with a chance of Mi Spicy Meat-A-Ball” The back has an arrow pointing at Sam which says “Not the Real Sam”

For the record, I don't necessarily dislike or personally avoid the planning scenes, it's an important part of D&D. That said, I know some people like to get past them, so there it is.
Any moments I missed? Feel free to post them here. Is it Thursday yet?

  2. Sloth doing Tai Chi in the bag 😀 loved the art from this episode! caleb blackwidoghast 🙂 idea for the trap to be the intuit charge on the underside of the cave ceiling near the rope, fire sigil on the floor directly below, the first person down the rope, hits the trap, falls into the fire sigil, small explosion of fire that draws all the brown mold to that one person, hopefully, one of the tomb takers down in one fell swoop, possibly eaten like the scarab scene from the original the mummy film 😀

  3. Once again, I am just so pleased they decided to take Essek over Trent. If Trent doesn't already show up on time to screw with them I feel it's certain he would've held back in the final fight to take the power for himself afterwards.

After this game is over and Trent is in the ground I really hope to hear Matt's thoughts on if this was in the cards!

  4. "this almost had a swampy aspect to it" … While half paying attention to it, this statement briefly seemed to be going in a different direction to me, lol.

  5. I feel like it should be pointed out that Caleb is completely different when he polymorphs. As himself he is weighed down by his guilt and past. As an animal or beast he doesn't have that baggage, he is playful and in other ways unconcerned with his human life, because when he is poly morphed he doesn't have to be HIM. He gets to be something else and lose his inhibitions. I bet child Caleb was playful along with being driven and smart. It really makes you wonder who Caleb would have been had he been taught by a master who wasn't an amoral remorselessly ruthless psychopath, Caleb without the scars and pain.
