Nikita finally made some long overdue changes to the AK platform, i personally think these changes are healthy for the meta as it’s oversaturated with hk’s and m4’s and fals, but we’ll see how it plays out.

I think they could buff the recoil and ergo even further, as you said they lack the punch of an SA-58 and the RPM and accurate spraying of M4s and HKs.
also there is a video out there from a gun expert who watched couple of AK clips and he clearly said that it seems that they recoil on the stock guns especially on 5.45 platforms seems way to much compared to IRL so there we have a little reasoning. It is also intresting that there seems to be no Bias around the Rifle systems from Russia as they are obviously russian developers, its like they're working against their own possible bias in the game lol.
