The biggest problem with Zhongli is that his pillars are bugged on boss, they will disappear all the time or just not spawn if cast near a boss and due to their low reach, it makes them really bad. The game should 'detect' the closest possible spawn location and add the pillar there if it cannot spawn it where you used it.
Is it possible to have ZhongLi rerun banner on 1.3? Since they didnt mention during the live stream
The weirdest part was that in the Chinese livestream they mentioned they will talk about the zhongli changes later and then just never mention it at all lol

Mihoyo still does not adress his energy generation problem. Also his pillar does not pose significant battle utility whilst it eats up elementary reactions. His autosummon pillar is also bad.
The shield is great but considering that Venti Ganyu Albedo Bennett and Xinqiu exist, I just hope Daddy Zhong gets a silent buff to be able to support properly. He deserves what he deserves-not this Mihoyo treating him like a trash character not being even worthy announcing his buffs at a proper article.

After how strong GANYU was, it really is kind of bad that it took them this long to buff him. Ill be honest, he as is is a 4 start in terms of power as is right now. While all other 5 stars are super strong.
So much power creeping idk how they’re gonna handle this with future 5 stars and future content since it needs to get harder

I think geo needed more elemental reactions like
Geo-pyro: Petrification
Geo-water: Mud (make enemies slower)
Geo-anemo: Dust (make enemies miss attacks/blind)
Geo-Cryo and Geo eletric i cant think of anything lol

i felt so bad when zhongli was labeled as the weakest 5 star and he’s my only 5 star … this makes me genuinely happy to watch him get buffed. he deserves it.
So he is going to get the buffs in two stages? Or how exactly? Will it happen right after the maintenance break at the end of ganyu banner?
I was praying for a new buff, maybe his AA turn geo for some secs after his burst or while shielded, this would match his GEO ascension and we would not have to split our dmg between physical and geo.
The pilar still doesnt recharge energy constantly, the range sucks yet and the dmg is too low.
I dont know why they dont give him a decent buff like they did to Albedo, Ganyu, Xiao and Hu Tao.
The only thing that I like about this new buff is just spawning the pillar when holding his E too. I prefer that his Q petrifying effect have omen effect like mona's Q.. When enemies that is petrified they will take a lot of damage especially from zhongli hold E geo damage.
