  1. As a Asian, I don't really understand Ming Xiao's riddle talking, but ancient philosophers and prophets through out world all like to speak with metaphor and poetry in their books.

This taxi driver is the most powerful vampire in this entire game and world setting, and he simply enjoys observing you guys.

Kuei-Jin and vampires aren't the same creature, and they won't gain any power from diablerizing vampires.

  2. Between the sabbat and kue jin, the anarch' fate is sealed if not for the camarilla timely intervention. So, without camarilla, the anarch kindred is not posses any threat to the kue jin

Regarding strauss, i believe it's not the sarchopagus he feel, perhaps it is something to do with the mysterious taxi driver

  3. Strange, I've finished the game a few times, and the Anarch ending was at the Luckee star motel, not this hotel. Maybe they added it in a new version of the unofficial patch?

  4. I am pretty sure the "dagger/scissors" is a letter opener.

Also, there is a corpse that should have broken down a long time ago. In VtM lore that corpse could be a sleeping vampire controlling jack, I'm not saying that is the case but jack did seem to know too much for his own clan and age…

  5. Jacks presence could be so strong that he is creating the feeling in the city (if its not the cab driver or Messarach)

He was embraced in 1654 and has had a LONG time to gain power… Idk tho he supposedly only has 3 presence so it feels off that he would have 6 now

  6. First of all thanks for the playthrough. This is the first time I’ve ever actually sat through a full lets play series and it was a blast seeing someone enjoy Bloodlines and getting a very different perspective from my own. The nostalgia from this game really hits hard due to how involving the story is and how much it nails the culture of the early 2000s. The music, the fashion, the sub-cultures, the very 90s style vampires, the weird heavily westernized Asian cinema references, and of course the night club dancing all hit hard to someone who was just a kid studying abroad in Japan when this game came out and was experiencing all this stuff for the first time.

A couple of things I wanted to say about the story. One thing to keep in mind is that everyone is being played by someone else in the story. Even Jack is ultimately just a pawn of someone else. There are plenty of hints throughout the game as to who the taxi driver really is and who is sending the mysterious emails. The dark vibe sensed throughout the game is likely being misdirected towards the sarcophagus but ultimately it the person behind the scenes pulling the strings that is causing it.

Secondly Andrei (the Tzimisce) makes a comment that the fledging has very potent blood. This might have just been a throwaway comment by the writers but it may also imply that the fledgling’s sire was actually a very powerful vampire possibly connected to real antagonist. It could be that the sire was manipulated into creating the fledging and then arranged to be killed off so they would have a controllable and unaffiliated but still powerful vampire to manipulate into instigating their plans.
That may explain why Lacroix fails at the end to use his domination powers even though they should work against a fledgling.

BTW technically Bloodlines 2 will be the 3rd game in the series, as the first one was Vampire – Redemption. Both were published by activision but redemption was done by a different studio and is far inferior to bloodlines. As for the Bloodlines 2, I don't have high hopes either but as long as I can awkwardly dance my little heart out to restore my humanity, then it’s got my cash. If only uncoordinated dancing worked so well in the real world.

  7. wow @ 30:36 I never knew she was hiding back there, at one playthru I helped her and she said she was going help me , but if this " how " she helps, I'd rather go it alone without her , lol, to hell with ever helping her again, and you were right, that was really lame, since you still did most of it o.O
And now that I've seen the camarilla ending I like that one too

  8. Just skimmed through these…When I did my first runthrough, I remember that more of a budding romance between you and Damsel can develop if you make certain dialogue choices. Also, didn't see the Sabbat ending, is it in there? Andrei was always honest with you about his intentions, and he treats you better than Ming Xiao, despite you "killing" him twice.

  9. I Finally realised there arent going to be any more of your VMB videos and got sad, so I came here to thank you for all these videos! This was the best playthrought of this game i`ve seen. You paid so much attention and speculated soo much throughout the game, I loved it! I was really hoping for a vampire masquerade playthrough during the ghost of tsushima and still cant believe it actually happened! Loved to see that you enjoyed this game so much, and i think its a great idea to do a malkavian playthrough after finishing the second game.

  10. Dominate may have a willsave, one also can't dominate a vampire of lower generation but it seems weird since your sire went down easy. And yeah he also successfully dominated you several times if you refused him before. Could be unlocking full potential.
