what's the use of a Tavern
the breads are a bit of a pain to make especially due to the water and eggs, and take 30 seconds a piece. They give you a little healing but its basically useless in the field.. maybe in winter if you didnt save any of those healing plants. Id rather make stew and sell it and buy bread than make bread. though ill let my villages make it but they are slow… without villagers though.. from harvest you got to make grain, fill buckets with water, gather like 5 ingredients and then a 30 second wait for like 15 better hunger saiting than porridge and 10-20 healing.. when all i have to do is grab the cabbage and meat and make 1 every 3 seconds.
There is no time limit on story quests. I let that one roll for several seasons before I finished it.
You can´t fail the Alwins quests

You want the Hunter's Lodge 2 for the Salting Barrel and Drying Rack, to make the meat and fish last longer
its ok not to finish the alwin quest in a day. it's not a generic quest. currently I've got a pending item quest for him. it has not failed and a lot of seasons has passed.
You get way more farming by doing the manure, hoeing, planting seeds, and harvesting vegetables. I found that using the scythe barely nets you any farming for some reason. Hope this helps!
Why throw it on the ground.. fill your home chest.. you can overfill
Making new farm plots and hoeing them will get you huge xp. You can delete the farm after, and you can do this anywhere there is wide open areas. Seriously helped me power level farming. Just make 16×16 somewhere away from your town carry 3-4 hoes per.

I would love it if the devs added a merchant building to this game that sells goods at the end of each season. Make it a mid game unlock with standard 50/100/200 pound storage limits. This would give NPCs with diplomat skill a use in the game. Higher the diplomat skill = better sale prices.

If you start a nighthowl quest before midnight you get penalized 25 points.
The tracking dialog says- 12;00 ~ kill x number of wolves.
So your first kill has to be after that to get the full 30 points.
You can usually find 3 wolves near sambor and you know about wolf city.
The family dispute dude IS extremely lazy! Last time I did this quest we (both of us!) were litteraly standing on top of a berry bush when he wanted me to pick those 5 berries for him. Dude. Lazy lol

I've been up to Alwin's Story VIII for about 2 years. It's an archery contest and I broke my bow and haven't made a new one yet.

You may have already done this and know about it but when you level up the farming skill, put the point into the first skill tree option. That will basically double your experience. Just kind the extraction and survival.
You may have already done this, but with all that meat you have, you could gain a metric ton of crafting exp by cooking it all. I mean, you have nearly a thousand meat… that's a LOT of exp just sitting in your storage, waiting. Food for thought, so to speak.
Remember kids, don't run with scissors…run with a scythe instead.

depending on how fast the progression is meant to be I'd personally prefer improving the skill gained from workers instead of reducing the skill gained from the player but it really depends how the developers want the progression to go and what they have in mind. maybe the whole point is sacrificing skill points for automation but honestly I think how long it takes them to do the job that you could do so much quicker should be enough for that aspect but who knows.
If you have multiple crossbows — can you load them all and then just equip it after each shot, thus avoiding the animation while being attacked?
