  1. I do believe they have nerfed the skills on the homeless folks, which is VERY frustrating. It takes two years for them to level one skill point and I need skilled labor now. The highest I have seen that I could recruit has been a 4, but those are rare and they are snotty people, so not easy to recruit. I also noticed that all the homeless do is shuffle from town to town, so you see the SAME recipients, just in different towns. They do not cycle out the old and cycle in new people until you recruit someone.

    Anyway, I only have three villagers because I recruited them before this nerf. Now, I am not finding any worthy people to recruit and I have to have 10 villagers for my current quest. Such crap, especially since I worked hard to get to the point I could recruit more. I expect better quality at this stage of the game. I remember seeing level 6 skill before, now it is typically 1, 2, and 3. Terrible!

  2. I have also started to quick-save before accepting quests. The patch where they upped the Dynasty Rep for completing quests, they also incorporated a penalty if you do not complete the quests before the next season (you can now lose Dynasty Rep for failing a quest). I thought that was odd, because in a patch prior to that one, they said they took away the failed quests due to seasons changing, or so I thought. Unfortunately, even after that patch where they said they did that, I still failed a quest due to seasons changing. Now what I do, I accept quests the first day of the new season and get them done ASAP, or I skip them altogether.

    Anyway, complaining aside, I wish they would include in the dialogue before you accept a quest what the quest entails and the reward, so we do not have to quick save and reload upon knowing what they actually want and what the reward is. If the Dev's think that by not doing that, we will not be picky and do whatever we are told, they are sadly mistaken. It just means we have no choice but to quick save.

  3. Quests are seasonal. They refresh every season. What you see the first day of the new season is what you have for the entire season. Get them done on day one, then focus on farming, gathering resources, hunting, building until the seasons change again. That is my new routine.

  4. does anyone happen to know how to further upgrade stone houses after daub, i built tier 3 house from stone, then upgraded it with daub but hammer doesnt have any other upgrade options even though it's said that limestone is used for upgrading stone houses

  5. Why do you still use the inspect mode and use stamina looking for the quest marker from so far? It shows in your compass all the time. You wouldn't run out of stamina so much in town if you stopped using it so much. It is not needed.

  6. Quests are, indeed, seasonal. Animals stay gone for a whole season when you kill them, but you can quicksave and reload to bring them back. The Recurve bow has a much quicker draw back timer, but the drop (distance you can shoot) is horrible compared to the longbow. And lastly, as I sit back with my drink and my snacks to watch this let's play, I must request you stop rhyming. I mean it….. anybody want a peanut?

  7. Just learned something new..if you build Stone Campfires and place them all around at your village the workers will come along and light them each night. Not the perfect solution for lighting but better than nothing and looks pretty cool

  8. Basic facts about recurve bows, they have the same power as a longbow. But because of the way they are constructed, they can basically be half the size. Certain recurve bows can actually be stronger than a longbow if they're made right.

  9. Kage whats up buddy, love the videos you've been doing on medevil dynasty. I do agree with you that they should be putting more information about the crafted weapons especially the bow and arrows. They should put some kind of information for the important stuff. Like HP depletion of bow, strength, longevity, and add info for the arrows so you know which arrows are stronger.

    Now when it comes to arrows I heard you say that the bow is worthless if you lose arrows. IMO, I think the way arrows can break & get lost definitely adds immersion to the game. That's the one thing I like about this game is the immersion kind of real life type scenarios like Spears breaking, arrows getting lost, and all sorts of stuff like that kind of adds to the true immersion of the survival craft genre.

    Again IMO, I think you're Bow should be able to break, your arrows should be able to break , arrows should have a chace of getting lost, because all that would def make it one of the truest to form Survival craft game..

    They should also make tomahawks , swords, sheilds, some time of armor, and other type of melee weapons. So that way you got some kind of upgraded weapon to kill animals with and whatnot. I also believe they should implement some kind of rival factions. I really think this game would benefit if they added like Bandits, Viking Raiders, and other kings in town people that basically want to wipe you out for your land. I really do think that would add a lot of immersion to the game.

    Keep up the good work dude keep pumping out videos it definitely breaking down medieval destiny this game is amazing

  10. Managing Firewood- I know you mentioned this in a couple previous videos but I forgot what you said and don't remember exactly which video it was— how do I keep firewood flowing to the workers?

  11. Kage, been watching you play and had to pick up the game for myself.

    I figured out how you upgrade houses. Just destroy a wall, then switch back to build mode, and edit it to the material you want.

  12. great – skill ups on the workers – bad- nerf on their recruit stat skills numbers , manure use, food spoil. I have been putting in 10-12 hour days at work 6 days a week and can't play so all these nerfs are killing my motivation to play.

  13. Your extra dialogue after you read the NPC's is hilarious. 🤣🤣 "If this kid doesn't take the stick I'm going to beat him with it. Who's going to stop me?!?" 😂😂 Keep up the great video's, Kage, loving them and the game as well.

  14. I creep every time I hunt. I am able to get incredibly close to whatever I am stalking, which maximizes the damage. Make sure you get used to sneaking up on prey…this will save you so many arrows
