Hi Foxy.๐๏ธ๐
I now both Series X and PS5 and I can say I like Series X better because of Game Pass, And PS5 became by secondary Console for it's First Party games.
Been waiting for this. Game changer on consoles!
Happy Friday from across the pond and I hope your doing well Foxy.
I miss your podcasts!!!
I loved your sense of humour when podcasting…it was like Foxy unleashed…providing a nice juxtaposition to these awesome but more serious scripted videos.
Keep up good work foxy ๐ unlike other youtubers u call it 50/50 no favouritism over other consoles
Widespread upscaling tech is big news on everything that can support it. Bring it on. More fps for all.
Great video
I hope this DLSS/ Fidelity FX is all PC fans make it out to be.
Haven't commented in a while (here or on Twitter) but just to let you know i do listen in, as this is one of the few gaming news channels i subscribe to. Have a great weekend Foxy ๐ป
Good to hear you are getting up to speed with the new tech these consoles have Foxy. Do you still think the Series S is garbage and will hold back development on new games?
..o and on the Xbox side in your intro you only mention the Series X, Series S will support this tech as well. You do mention later on Series of consoles.
Meh, got the kid the PS5 for Christmas but Iโll wait for the half step upgrade.
I miss the podcast shows Foxy ..so much fun from those shows it was comedy all around and very informative info all the time ..
If FXSR has open source alternatives and is far easier to implement its already a winner for me over DLSS?
This could be brilliant for psvr2. We could get really high resolution per eye, with high fps.
It's taking longer to release because every time they say the name they have to take a lunch break. It might be just as good or better than DLSS, but that one is much easier to roll off the tongue.
Fox im waiting for that 1440p 120hz support for the ps5 alot of players are wanting it we don't want to buy a over price tv or monitor ๐ค
Ah yes. Another video where the person hasn't a clue how a in order to utilize this like DLSS, you must have the deep-learning part done by a neural network cloud that has been designed specifically to do this. Can't wait to see this video age like fine, fine wine.
Canโt wait for this. This will sure be a few steps closer to 4K60 games with RT
All this stupid talk of how one console will outperform another.
Let's be clear, in the heat of the battle, no one will notice. They will look and play the same. If one console drops a few frames in a certain section, no one will notice or care. We dont play games with a microscope on the screen.. who cares if one version has a few more blades of grass than the other.
This will introduce 8k gaming across the board. Which also mean we'll see many UE4 games possibly be converted to support 8k gaming plus UE5 games built from the ground up. My guess Fortnite will be one game that will run at 8k 60fps. But I'm excited for the current and future games that run Ray Tracing. Now we can have all that without the performance hit or hit to visuals as much depending on implementation. Definitely glad AMD decided to wait and not rush this out. Which is probably why Sony hasn't had certain features out the gate.
How is Colts going to damage control this news?
I think AMD might be missing the point. The term "Super-resolution" and "Fidelity FX" makes it sound like they are maxing graphic fidelity. People love DLSS because it adds like 30% more fps without hurting graphics
I too am a pixellated fossil. A proud one. Love your channel Foxy!
AMDLSS
but a "dlss" for consoles would reduce the needs for a pro version, right? I mean the developers could just make the game run at a lower resolutions and let the ai do the work
The most exciting thing here is that we will get to the point where a native 1080p image can be upscaled to 4k looking as good if not better leaving all that extra processing power available, when this kicks in properly it could be like a mid gen upgrade without having one !!!
