Before the developers of Among Us would cancel plans to develop a sequel to focus on it’s growing success after daily downloads on the Google Play store went from 10 Million to 50 Million then 100 Million and more. Before Among Us Memes would take over Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and everywhere else online. Among Us is not a new game. Obviously — it came out in 2018. But at heart, it’s much older than that. Among Us is the latest popular adaptation of Mafia, aka Werewolf, aka The Resistance, aka Secret Austrian Artist. These are social deception games, about a group of players trying to identify the traitor amongst them, and the card-playing version actually dates back to the 1980s.

Damn, I feel honored playing among us when it came out and still playing it and coming from Henry Stickmin games!
I started playing Among Us since early last year and I find it weird how some people say the game was basically dead before it blew up. Sure at first the community was fairly small but the game was free on iOS & Android and eventually it got a big following in some regions. Servers were still clunky but they were able to handle the playercount at the time. The game was by no means dead before 2020.
I know them all already because i play this games since 2018
