  1. A game critic?
A game critic is a nintendo dick rider and likes to change their original veiws on a prequel all because the sequel sucked and worship another studio in retaliation and declare that studios mediocre games as superior all because they hated Voice acting protagonists and were betrayed by an MMO.
Then 2 years later they look back on their decisions and realize their childish actions made a fine game from 2008 and a love it or hate it game from 2019 victims of war crime.

  2. I actually really like the lockpicking minigame in Skyrim. The perks though? Useless. I think they just threw them in there because "every skill needs a perk tree" when really lockpicking doesn't. I think being able to pick master level locks makes sense because in real life a lock being hard to pick doesn't mean you can't at least try. There should be a jamming mechanic potentially but that seems annoying to program.

  3. One thing I hated about the dungeons in skyrim is that people in the world like the nords or guards or other non native races to the region never acknowledge them or even goes as far as too act surprised when they hear about them.. They do the same thing specially with the falmer. One of the coolest moments for me was the civil war quest line in which you go to the barrow to get the crown and the imperials (if you side with them) act scared of the draugr.

  4. I don't enjoy mods. To each his own but I pay for the dev's knowhow and game making expertise. My favorite game of all time is ff7…it has a million ports and mods…but my fav way to play is on a psx. I don't think a game should ever be "improved" upon by mods. The original game should be head and shoulders in quality over any mod content. I mean, I'm paying the dev….modders don't get anything from my pocket

  5. great videos as always, the ending is perfect!
edit : btw do you have a plan for a video to "fix" morrowind, oblivion, and skyrim with mods? especially because these games are usually modded, and i would like to know what your modlist would look like 🙂

  6. I think I went to that Inn once when I was dying of cold exposure in that region and desperate to find a place to warm up.

Oh and I was being chased by two frost trolls

  7. I’ve made maybe one comment on YouTube before. Your description of this series is so unbelievably on point that I had to make a comment. That is all. Hope that the future holds more wonder and exploration and not more monotonous “get quest, finish quest” boring BS.

  8. While I cant say I agree with your take on skyrim I respect your opinion, unfortunately I think the success of skyrim will prevent innovation in the future for Bethesda.

  9. I love your take that Bethesda painted themselves in a corner with their bugs and glitches and chose to punish the kids who liked the old school system by throwing out the baby with the bath water.

  10. I have long complained that the ease at which you can do everything is one of Skyrim's biggest flaws. I played through as a Mage and literally swung a weapon 3 times because I had to. I was leader of the companions. I did the opposite with Winterhold. I had to learn Magelight. I think I had to learn shield, but that was it.

Having to play the game multiple times with different characters to see all the content would be a far better way to way to extend player's play time. Make me need to be a good mage or actually adhere to companions ethos to become head of them.

  11. Just finished watching. It's a great deep dive into Skyrim. Really nice conclusion to the series. I wonder what is your opinion on ESO? Besides overland content being too easy and quest markers still very much a thing it did improve one thing. Quests are amazing, they are interesting, diverse and with great voice acting. I've actually never played through a game with better quests mmorpg or any other. It plays solo really well. Vvanderfell/skyrim zones are a lot smaller than they were in Morrowind/Skyrim but there is a lot of diversity. Would love your input. Cheers

  12. At some point I realized, that Zelda games are not really up my alley anymore – they have evolved, and I have grown/changed as a player for it to not be as great of a match anymore. To me it appears, as if this video is the thoughts of someone having similar feelings about the Elder Scrolls series

Edit: Ah.. I wrote this 10 minutes before the end of the video. Well… I guess I'm reasonably accurate for once

But weren't we all? (I chose this spot because, "I guess I was young and naive," flows flawlessly over footage of you crafting a goofy-ass lookin' Orc. ;P Seriously, well done on that bit.)
