I am so pissed about the OUR SONY PlayStation COMMUNITY. The fact that we do not have the system in our hands at launch. Let me preface this by saying I am a huge fan of your content and think that you are bringing us the news with plain old facts, Much appreciated. Now I'm going to call BUL*&^(*^ on this whole culture of attacking people for seizing an opportunity to possibly make a living when we are literally not allowed to work in some places. THEY ARE SELLING GAME SYSTEMS NOT HEROIN I think that this goes for all of the US (myself included) the gamers are. .and I say this with love. .WE ARE. entitled, impatient, ungrateful, and extremely critical little punks. I find myself getting so pissed when something does not have an option to buy at launch or is on backorder. No person is owed a ps5 it's not our birthright. Why not respect the guys and galls reselling the ps5 they may have had no other way of making a living during covid. EG if there is someone that takes something FREE like information and then jumps on camera and repeats it and then gets paid for it!!! is that predatory?!! NO, we just call that Youtube. I am Sony since day 1 Battle Arena and Ridge racer . . . .I bleed blue this is not only a hobby but a part of who I am as a person, so I get it. . . . im pissed as well. I just don't think that we should get mad at these scalpers but rather get mad at the people with the solution. . . . . get mad at the manufacturer that allowed the shortage. If Sony made enough PS 5s for me to go and get one at launch for 399 this would not be a thing.
As a professional, I am a licensed broker. Basically, I sell money, and based on the scarcity or surplus that money is more or less expensive. It's the American way to charge a fee for giving someone exclusive access to a product at extremely high prices. All I can say is I have purchased every game console from turbo Grafix 16 to Dreamcast and launches just plain suck. Launches during the holidays suck . . . launches with formidable competition suck, launches with product and component shortages suck. How about a global launch of a console During a global pandemic in the month of December alongside MICROSOFT of all companies all with component shortages. I commend the scalpers because they saw the need and shortage coming.
All I can say is just wait . . . . does anyone remember ps3 or Gran Turismo 6? WE WAITED FOR 3 YEARS QUIT YOUR WHINING. Dont be a HATER

After playing a bit of Destruction Allstars last night, I definitely would've never payed for this game. Thats not to say its a poorly made game or anything like that, but there's so much micro-x and it just feels like a really monotonous game.

Seriously I've been saying for months or so now. There is a way to slow down the scumbag scalpers. Stop selling ps5 online. In store only 1 per household. Not bots buying tons a once leaving true fans in the dust. There would be more ps5 where they should be in gamers homes. I know this is not ideal considering covid being around but I've been out so many times and there are people shopping like there's no covid around. It 🤢🤮 that scalpers are ripping people off. To all those who are on the hunt for the PS5 I really hope you get one sooner than later.

I'm curious how it is, weaker console sells better than much powerful one, ps5 is just most wanted box on the market lol, I bought it just for Demon souls, most of the time I play on pc as I spend a lot of money on it, hope that consoles will have something like DLSS cuz that thing helps a lot if you care about max setting rather than pure res.

People need to pressure their governments to make scalping illegal or at the very least pressure the websites they are selling on to make it against the rules.
They collect dues on top of price gauging the shit out of the product that people are desperate to get for one reason or another we have a store in my area called B.J.'s Wholesale (yes, that a real wholesale store and not a porn joke) they charge a club membership fee like Sam's Club does and like Sam's Club you get discounts on products storewide if you're a member. These scalpers do nothing of the kind you pay them a fee for each item that goes into a bag and then they charge YOU triple the price to actually put the bags into your cart.

Here is what I do: I simply choose to not purchase from scalpers. Novel concept, isn’t it? So likewise, I still don’t have a PS5. And I expect I won’t be able to get one at stores until 2022. If people would stop buying from scalpers, they would have no choice but to stop.

When people want the system lower the fuckin system price
Scalping has to really hurt software sale per store they are scalped from. Systems are the trogen hores for software. Stores selling all their hardware to scalpers kills the the software sales per system sold.. stores should see this negative impact and see it in their interest to prevent as much as possible.
