The game play in itself isn’t enough. It needs to be fixed. If I remember correctly EA and BioWare said they were standing by this game. They need to stick with there promise and fix it.

Anyone with common sense knew this was coming. The developer put such a skeleton crew on it and added such little content just to legally protect themselves. Now they have drug it out so long most people that bought the game don't care. We would not have even got the cataclysm if it wasn't for legal reasons. They would have been looking at massive class action lawsuits and they did everything they could to avoid that. Years ago they knew they were moving on from this game. Probably before it even came out. Before it even released they started taking Personnel off of Anthem and moving them around to other projects.
Hope it doesn't get killed. I literally just started playing this game last Thursday cuz I saw it was on game pass ultimate and my brother and I were looking for something coop to play. Idk much about what happened back at launch other than I heard tons of negative things about the game, but I seem to be enjoying it. It has some pretty neat mechanics with the flying mid combat and all that too.
I think EA is waiting until Outriders demo until they kill Anthem…to see if they should proceed. For now Destiny has this formula locked down.
I really hope the anthem team have been paying attention everyone's criticism and are able to get the game off the ground literally. Right now because they have a chance with the other looters is such a poor state to make a move.
I loved Athem's combat system and flying was crazy fun. If done right it has the potential to be amazing so i hope it will be saved.
Anthem absolutely broke my heart and I went so hard on anthem the first day I went without sleeping 24 hours was amazing and then all the problems starting to take its toll I hope that this is another no man sky redemptive story but when it comes on to the corporate shareholders I don’t feel like they are going to save this game comes down to there bottom line.
I just want a decision made.

I've loved this game ever since I played the beta. But I think they should let the community decide. Make posts and videos that will allow us to vote to let it live or die. My vote is to live. GINGERS UNITE!!!!

I still enjoy anthem regardless of the opinion if the masses. It has its flaw but there is done thing there worth saving. Fingers crossed bioware has gotten it together
If they do Kill the Game, Let this be a Lesson for them and for us.
If they give this a little more love and life, then players will come back, just like Destiny, No mans sky, even (begrudgingly i say this) Fortnite. All games that showed promise and was given a little more TLC and now they are revered.
A lot was wrong with this game but the flying was awesome. Hope they approve and give it another shot. Mainly for those of us that purchased the thing.
Trust me, Anthem has BEEN dead, wish is wasn't but it's definitely gonna die, especially now that the Executive Producer for Anthem 2.0 was shifted to Dragon Age 4… R.I.P. Anthem
you made a video a while ago, a year or so……and i said they should just let anthem die….but now they announced Next which could be a game changer, and could be the thing the game needs, i cant say the game should die without knowing what NEXT has to offer
If it was priced again, I would not buy it again, I have the LoD edition of the original. F2P would be okay, but some ingame compensation would be appreciated.
Yea the core ideas and gameplay is amazing I still login now and then and just fly around and kill a few mobs then log out. Hopefully they release 2.0
No way they give up on Anthem it has great core gameplay and with new loot and content you bet I'd be back day one
I know EA and they'll probably scrap anthem, use it for a next gen generic mass effect then shutdown bioware and buy another studio…rinse and repeat.
A new engine is the only thing that will save Anthem. "The 30" were just grabbin' some cash. Anthem is finished.
I hope they keep it. It’s a really fun game with good bones. For those want to get rid of it, just don’t play the game if you don’t like it. Leave the rest of us alone. And to answer the money question, I’m only paying for this title once.
They need to continue with Anthem 2.0 because it will show players that they are capable of creating such games and start to increase their reputation. Other people are hating on it because they are disappointed at launch and because they don't think Bioware can do it so they need to prove them wrong.

It will never succeed. The ONLY way it will keep anyone's interest is if the people who already bought the game get it for free. That wont happen though. Cunty EA will try to resell it as a new game
As my avatar and over 750 hrs played would attest, I loved this game and would welcome many many fixes, but for now I’ve moved on and am impatiently hoping Outriders fills the void.
another drip feed story live service game, following the destiny/warframe/division/anthem1.0 model ill pass. live service games are an automatic no for me at this point. but I am a story first gameplay second type of gamer so its just the choice I have to make. hope the update or new release method goes well and people can enjoy the game whichever way it goes.
I joined late. However I have really enjoyed the game play this last few weeks. I am still going and I can see the issues.
However I will direct. I actually gave a fuck about the characters during the story (compare to D2, I didn’t even really care about Cayde).
I hope it keeps going. Playing Storm has been a great gaming experience.
Regardless of my personal feelings – I want the game to get a 2.0 – they need to release a 2.0 for one reason: They said they would. Life lesson, kids: do what you say you're going to do.

i bought the gamepass for 2 months and played anthem for this time. it really was fun despite the many problems it had.
i would not cry a single tear if its getting dumped, BUT i would rather have a reworked anthem finally with a decent lootsystem, promised rpg features and at least more interesting stuff to do.
the gameplay in general, and this is something almost everyone agrees, is really fun and it has potential.
im really excited what the decision will be
I hear the sadness and grief in this guys voice. You know this is EA and it is going to take a quite a bit of money to re-release this game and they can't resell it with a $60 price tag so I think this game is going to be put on the shelf for a far far far future date and call it a different name.
The pros outweigh the cons when it comes to #anthem & I would love to s👀 an anthem 2/next gen.

Anthem is definitely a dope game with even more huge potential. Everyone hating on this game would rather mindlessly run the repetitive call of duty. Outriders though looks dope .
Would love Anthem to get the love and attention it needs. Would happily pay for skins for mechs and weapons as well to help support it once we see a GOOD product that RUNS OPTIMALLY and has DEPTH and CONTENT
I really did like this game when it first came out. The end game sucked tho and I stopped playing it but the game play and the world was amazing. If they could fix it I would totally play it again.
BioWare just needs to not be a thing anymore. They can’t even remake their old games without screwing It up anymore. Let it die.

And I put a shit load of hours in Anthem building up all Javelins. Minus the massive bugs the game has so much potential. Never have I played a game where the flying experience was so god damn god. The abilities and gun play were fun. I think something good will come of it in the end.

The game had great potential and I really liked forward to it being the destiny killer for me personally… I hope they do deliver (for once) on a game they promised and make it the way it supposed to. I will totally give it another chance but not if there will be ANOTHER price tag. They won't get me again
