I always thought Anthem had good bones, flying was fun combat wasn't bad but all the bugs and lack of content killed it
I picked up EA Play on Thursday and installed Anthem on the same day, alright, I'm coming to the game after a number of patches but I can't deny that I really enjoyed the flexibility of movement in the game, the power of flight, in my [Heavy] suit, no need for external bikes/hoverbikes, mounts, running on foot for ages, or using fast travel even though it was available, I just wanted to fly my missions, cut in my hovers engines and just rain death from above, then flame ground slam, pop a fresh mag up my insta spin-up autocannon and just lay some serious fire on a large group of outlaws/Scar with mini-bosses to back them up! I think I started playing on Thursday 11am-ish and didn't stop playing till 3am Friday! the games got a good loop, I felt powerful from level 1 to 15. hope they keep the game going.
Please ask Chaos to upgrade or adjust his microphone. He sounds like he’s speaking underwater and has very low volume. Otherwise an outstanding podcast.
Imagine anthem in new console graphics. And the new 2.0 😱
This game could be the bomb.
I would pay 10 bucks if they put 2.0 just for support.

Serious? Everyone knows it’s there because it is compared to everything.
It's really simple. If Anthem is scrapped, it puts EA in the same general position that CDPR is in right now. They lied to the public. They lied to their investors. And they charged consumers for a broken piece of crap. The question is: Is EA willing to open themselves up to the legal backlash that will follow if they scrap the project at this point? People have generally given them the benefit of the doubt because EA and Bioware have said that they will fix this mess of a game.
Awesome job…you just got a 👍+1…I have over 5000k hrs in Anthem…I wish OutRiders all the best…remember when Anthem was the new kid on the block?…we are so quick to judge rightfully so…but Anthem is so much better than at launch…can’t wait for Anthem 2.0 Next!…#iBelieveInAnthem△▽△, #strongertogether💯

Its sad that the game doesnt live longer to die. leaving this game with great core of gamplay and good combat its just… aghh. 🙂

I was hoping that Anthem would replace my itch for looter shooters after destiny continued to fumble every year with every launch.
For me, my hope, and I suspect, EA will give anthem another shot, and we'll have Outriders for other looter-shooter goodness.
