That's it. They've ruined ranked especially for solo q. This game is gonna due withik the next three Seasons and honestly, it fucking deserves it. Sad to see the best game I've ever played turn into this
As a predominantly solo queue player ranked is now going to be even more difficult; I'm going to get dragged down by bad teammates even further 😤 Who the fuck is supposed to benefit from that change? Respawn has continuously listened to the top 1% moan & bitch about things that only affect them.
I hope they don’t fix Ranked Arenas until next season, it wouldn’t be fair to those of us who pushed through the horrible +12’s and -39s/-60s/-90s to get to masters.
It would be extremely unfair for them to update it this season and then everyone and their dog in diamond just magically gets it while I had to put in the hardest grind of my life to get from D1-Masters

If they don't change BR matchmaking then ranked is going to be hell for a normal player. Because your lobbies are going to be all over the place while you and your friends are trying to pass tier one of the rank system.
I play ranked with kids who get 150 damage and no kills all the time. There’s no way this new ranked br system will be beneficial to solo q
if there's gonna be deranking in br ranked you should get rewards for the highest point you reached. example, if I reach master but play a game and lose enough to get demoted to diamond 1, and I never get back to master for the whole season, I would get master rewards.

BR ranking is fine…changing the point system to team based rather will make it harder for people like me who just want to grind ranked solo. I use ranked to see how good I am at the game….not how well I work as a team mate!
I once had two lvl 1 teamates in ranked, I was D3, close to d2

Im so worried about that points system change. Honestly idk who asked for that for br, i thought br was fine tbh. Def some problems with arenas points which is why i stopped playing in arenas but i almost exclusively played in ranked mode for 3 or 4 seasons because my matches were more exciting and earning my rank felt good so i hope the change doesnt kill it. Apex has been my favorite game since the second week it came out and its been hard seeing the game end up this way, but all we can do is hope for better and pray they dont fuck it up even worse.
I'm happy they're fixing the matchmaking but I wish they just set a standard AP gain system for wins and kills than based on the MMR like how it is in normal Ranked. Even after fixing the matchmaking, there could be chances that AP would still be ridiculous.
If this ranked change is true and if they rework wattson in a good way, I think im going to love this next season

Thank fck for them adding deranking between ranks. This is my first time really playing ranked and im currently stuck in plat because every other team im put with has an octane/wraith pushing every fight they see without thinking. Hopefully it'll keep boosted players in silver/lower gold where they need to be.

I have to rely on my teammate to even get rp even when they are alive the whole game barely get 1 kill while I'm sitting with 5 plus kills and max points… literal bullshit respawn and EA. You will lose lots of people because you are making people rely on randoms if they queue up with one person or no one just to get rp now? What do you expect us to do. Telenor to them and play for them just to get points because they can't keep up and suck? tip from me when you get a rank when the de ranking system comes is that you let’s say reach master and just stop playing right there bud go play pubs and wait for the rewards
gibbys bubble shield has a delay that allows you to destroy it
Those ranked changes would be huge for solo ranked grinders like you wont get anymore hard stuck d4's on your team so ranked grind with decent players that can maintain their ranked would be huge ups (atleast for me)
