Apex Legends New Collection Event Isn’t Even an Event as a lot of players have pointed out that when Raiders drop on Tuesday December 7th, there will be no Town Takeover, little to no buffs or nerfs, No new LTM we have not seen before, and the only new thing being added to the game are event skins to unlock the Wattson Heirloom for 160 dollars. This has left a lot of players very unhappy and so today we will discuss what exactly is going on with Apex Legends and Respawn.

    I am looking forward to this collection event because I am a fan of the skins (esp Valk and Wattson). But I do agree with you, it would have been nice if they brought in new content for us rather than just recycling old content to try to keep us happy.

  13. Wattson was my girl for the longest time and I've been playing since release….
    Except, I haven't touched it in at least a month now..

    The map was..fine. But the gameplay is stale and just boring.
    I mean, even ALGS – it's just all the same stuff over and over and over and over…..

    I'm honestly just super bummed. I've loved the game since release but it's clear that they've put profit above all else at this point….

  19. I love the changes to arcstars and the customizable crosshair colors. We got a new Map at the start of the Season, i don´t need and don´t see a reason for a new POI just yet. I think this event is perfectly fine as it is.

  20. Maybe the devs are distracted playing halo infinite multiplayer or… taking notes on microsoft’s controversial BP system lol. In all seriousness though, I’m excited to see the pirate skins. They are pretty cool

  25. yeah thought the same thing when i see the trailer. The designers always does a great job with the cosmetics, no doubt, but they could so much fun stuff with the new map. Why not put a pirate themed mirage voyage in the map with a treasure hunt or loot vaults that are hidden? so much potential too bring to the new map, to put it in a good spotlight and rise up the player base that are getting lower. its make me so sad in the last time, that almost every new stuff is something to buy and not some actually new stuff to play with.

  34. Remember what happened at Rampards update it was awful first month i bet they dont wanna happen this again only in next season. So for right now we enjoy the game but wait… next split will have recollor colection so dont be upset yes we will have christmas skins 🥰

  37. I think it would be more fun if they included Holiday Express (and other themed game modes) into their own section where you could choose to play them any time of the year.

    Wish respawn would've put more effort in this collection event, but Wattson's heirloom looks cute.
    ( let's hope that respawn brings something good for the 2nd half of the season <3 )
