  1. I would like a solo mode most of the time when I que up by myself I end up ditching my teammates if they are the type of player that like to play passive because my play style is so aggressive.

  2. Thanks for being my new news source for Apex! Discovered you a few days ago and as someone who doesn't really follow what happens on twitter, it can be so hard to stay in the loop about Apex. Really appreciate the videos 😊

Anyway, the lore has always been one of the things about Apex that I know I've always enjoyed, just like many others. Coming from TF2 being my first FPS years ago, I still remember the characters being what initially drew me in and gave me investment in the world the devs had created. Its like having dessert with the main dinner, the main dinner being the gameplay. Its just a nice treat that adds to a game, but shouldn't take it over.

That being said, I think live events could be a really fun thing, so long as it adds something substantial to the world development. But I also think they need to take care of other, slightly more important aspects moving forward to maintain the health of the gameplay. I've seen people who want map selection and I've seen others that want all maps in rotation (both of which they need to consider moving forward if they create new maps.) Cheating is a whole other issue with accounts getting hijacked by Chinese hackers, resulting in an innocent person getting what could be an expensive account banned. Servers on top of that, still as we all know need fixing.

Storm Point is definitely a unique map, but their reasoning behind the size is something I've disagreed with. Their hope was to avoid third parties, but with the way the map plays and the size of it, it avoids only early-mid game third parties in my experience and does nothing for late game. Because everyone is moving towards the same fights by late game, you get third partied in moments that sometimes feel cheesier. On the flip side, some of these last battles have been insane and truly enjoyable, so there's that positive at least. I'm enjoying the new map more now than at the beginning of the season, but I think that's because everyone generally knows now where to drop to have some good early fights. (For a while, it was sort of like this when King's Canyon came back in S8 because new players that season or others like one of my friends who picked up the game in S7 didn't know the map.)

It seems like a good future for the game if they take care of important things, but we'll just have to see.

  3. All they have to do for Lifeline in solos is give her fast heal back since her drone res would be useless. For mirage, let him cloak for 2 seconds after opening a death box but only for solos.
