Apex Legends Performance Update Releasing Soon as both Kral Rindo and Shrugtal have found game files that show Respawn is working on boosting the frames per second of the game to match its pc counterpart at 120 FPS. There is also work to improve audio quality and other small features such as 4k resolution along with Apex Legends also being announced as canidates for 2 game awards this year.

  1. So.. the PC version is best capped at 190 FPS in my experience. Something to do with the game engine blah blah, but I recently capped mine at 120 just to see if I do worse or better at that frame rate. I might actually try the console version again soon with this update. Fun times!

  2. "The game we all love" – I'm in a love-hate-relationship with Apex. I'm THE worst player on the face of this earth AND I have a negative learning curve with me actually getting worse the more I play. I rage-quit the game almost every time I play, thinking I'm gonna uninstall (which I actually already did twice), but still I keep returning. Even though I consciously know that playing a game I'm very bad at is a total waste of time, I keep coming back because somehow I still love that game…

  3. they need to give us the option to disable/uninstall HD textures like halo and other games do, as well as optimize their game for gpus and cpu’s. there’s no reason when a 30 series should still be saying 90-100 gpu use when I play on everything low and no texture streaming
