I just wanna be able to switch the button to down on the dpad instead of X when picking up a caustic trap so many times I go to reload while taking cover behind one of my traps and accidentally pick it up

There is one thing in apex on console which fucks up the game. The fact that reloading and interacting are mapped on one button is annoying af. You can't reload behind a knockdown shield and u keep accidently reloading on ziplines. I was thinking about a solution and came up with one. There is a button for quips and your holo sprays and emotes and that shit. You can also acces them tho from openinh your ping wheel and then pressing triangle. How about an option to deactivate the button for voice lines and emotes and instead putting reloading or interacting on it? That would be perfect in my opinion

One thing I really want for controllers is reloading priority. The amount of fights I lost because I couldn't reload but instead started to revive a teammate or loot a box is insane.

Is it just me….or is seers story/character just not that interesting ?
I'm not talking about his abilities….just his overall aesthetic. I feel like theyre usually pretty good at writing characters, but this one is just super underwhelming and super corny.
For a little while last year I switched my right bumper for my jump, and my A button for ping. It made it impossible to loot tho. I enjoyed the movement for a few minutes anyway
