the audio bug happened in a 1v6. i couldnt hear shit. no callouts from teammates or nothing just BAHHHHHHHHHH i still won but it fucked me up a bit

Halloween "event." Genuinely didn't even notice it was a thing untill a friend told me mid game. My favourite event gameplay, spending money.
At 2:00 you started asking "why aren't we getting this?" Or "why aren't we getting that anymore?"

I feel like the best thing that could happen for apex is if someone like epic games bought it I have never seen a fortnite server issue last for more than a week or 2
My guess is the lackluster event is because they're all hands on deck towards the new season, and the devs can't be bothered to divert their resources toward making/supporting a limited time event as there are bounds to have issues they have to crunch through once the event's live unlike the years before it.
They're expanding beyond battle royale and arenas and the mobile game shows that. Having LTMs that devs have to work on every season breaks the momentum they're working on the background. I think it was a conscious decision by Respawn to take the L for this event for the future of Apex Legends as a whole.
A lot of Respawn staff seems to be excited about the future of Apex in one of their meetings, however, releasing this info once it's not ready will create a lot of unrealistic expectations and "Respawn Lied to us!!!", hence, being too transparent with their future goals will bring more harm than good.
1:35 You haven't played Overwatch then. I used to get very excited to their events as they bring something fresh and new. But after their third year, they started recycling stuff, and with the development of OW2, they just stopped innovating. I left because of a long content drought and Apex legends isn't as bad as Overwatch is right now. They still seem to be consistent with a new legend every season and lore drops that keep players engaged.
I think they're planning to go beyond battle royale, hence, everything's shitty right now. It's not helping that their game engine isn't exactly stable as the game was built from bugs from the source engine, and which was never designed for large maps and players in the first place.

And of course the only store bugs they fix are the ones where players can get stuff cheaper than they want to sell them. They haven’t done anything about the duplicate items bug since that doesn’t cut value on their end.
The problem is not Respawn itself, it is their provider, EA. It almost seems like they're trynna kill Apex, but before that they're also trynna squeeze every little penny out of our pockets and then move on to another title, maybe in development or to the new BF2042. I feel like Respawn wants to improve their game, but EA is such a handicap with their corrupted monetary practices that the developers have to focus on the loot boxes bug ASAP instead of fixing the game. It's so frustrating 🙁

They literally need to stop leaving us in the dark and just sucking us dry of money 💰 all they do is leave things not fixed say how hard it is to fix the issues when in reality they just ARE NOT FIXING THEM🤣 if you game devs can't fix these issues time to find a new career cause there are coders out there on Reddit that prolly better at it than Respawn
I believe some of the problems that Apex is facing today may be due to their use of a modified Source engine, an engine that is meant for smaller matches as opposed to the 60-player lobbies of Apex. Server problems are likely a direct result of this old architecture. On top of that, the effect covid had on the game dev industry is extreme and we're still only starting to see the results of this as more work needs to be put into seasons and legends as opposed to working for LTMs. One reason we continue to get continued skin drops is that artists weren't as badly affected.
It took them a full month to put a banner update into the game alerting people about the animated banner/poses glitch and advise them to unequip them

What I hate is thay never update us on what thay are doing to fix the server or a problem
Character broken all season, dcing because other people still have animated poses, audio, game lagging because of having a lot of people on your friends list, still can't select my character 80% of the time, have to quit my game to exit to the lobby bugs go on and on S11 is make or break.
R u color blind because ur shield color is different
I've had an issue where my legend selection changes, even my teammates have had it. Basically at the start of the match the legend changes randomly. Not sure why !!
They could purposely add a bug and then say they will fix it, everyone would then praise them for being amazing. I would agree that transparency would help
Easy fix to music. Turn music audio off in your settings
