  1. I'm not throwing shade here; (seriously, everyone entitled to their own opinions, no hating) but I don't get why Worlds Edge is so popular. Its my least fav: the chokes are horrendously unforgiving and samey, it seems to take ages to find a fight and the look of the map is pretty unpleasant too. I find Kings a lot more "fun" and unpredictable which makes for more interesting games for me, and Olympus is just straight up beautiful, a joy to traverse and has the best POIs to fight in (great levels, excellent balance of cover and tonnes of interesting angles to use on approach).

    Tbf im only a Gold level ranked player so perhaps I'm not at the level of appreciating the tactical element of the maps but still; WE is consistently the least "fun" for me.

    Whats everyone else's thoughts?

    CHARACTERS CHANGES IDEAS

    =========================

    Note: These writings has about 1500 words (equivalent to around 5 and a half pages of A4 paper)

    The following characters mentioned in order are Revenant, Wraith, Watson, Crypto, Gibraltar, Caustic, Octane, Mirage, Bloodhound, Lifeline and Bangalore.

    ==== REVENANT ====

    == Passive buff ==

    Climb infinite without slowing down, that makes him unique.

    == Tactical buff ==

    Increase hit damage to 30 health from 10 health, and increase hit damage to 30 health from 10 health when the enemies walks into the cloud for 2nd time and onwards. Reason, his current tactical is almost useless, 10 health damage is weak, enemies can still push forward to fight you or escape with confidence and it doesn’t take skill, this change will make enemies think about strategies. It will also improve offense.

    == Ultimate rework (huge buff) ==

    Add changes when your play as shadow from last Halloween event but health must start from 100, and it must include weapons and throwables, radius of the character must be added but 20% smaller than loba’s ultimate.

    Double the duration of ultimate usage (to 60 seconds from 30).

    After health bar drops 0 or the duration of the ultimate usage finishes, they will have 3 options for 3 seconds to either teleport:

    to totem or

    within the radius of character or

    stay where you are

    in full health (from 50 health). If those options are not selected within 3 seconds, they will instantly go to totem.

    Increase melee damage by 10 to 60 from 50.

    The reason for change is from last Halloween event the shadows quite underperformed by legends (which I know they made it that way for Halloween event to encourage you to win as legends). Apart from last Halloween event, his ultimate gives almost weak push, less time to think and make strategies. The enemies can get their weapons ready to shoot. By the time the ultimate is finished and went to totem, the enemies had almost healed, and the enemies already know you will take time to approach or disengage the fight, even if you have approached, some enemies will draw weapons ready to shoot while other enemies are healing. I think adding weapons and throwables improves offence. It will make enemies make challenging decisions instead of easy decisions.

    ==== WRAITH ====

    == Tactical nerf ==

    Make the process of tactical activation interruptible and maybe slightly decrease that activation process, because players can still escape. This will be quite tolerable to catch Wraiths that try to escape.

    == Ultimate buff ==

    Increase her movement speed to 100%.

    Make her port stay infinitively inside the zone.

    Reason is because her ultimate is less useful than her tactical and it makes positioning easier and prevents team waiting longer for Wraith to finish her port, and be able to quickly teleport.

    == Ultimate slight nerf ==

    Slightly increase the length of the port to moderately avoid easy escape and positioning, especially if you are reaching the safe zone. It will make enemies slightly easier to find you.

    ==== WATSON ====

    == Tactical buff ==

    Make her electrical fences throwable, the electricity must be shown after 1 or 2 seconds (not instantly). It will make her interesting to play. It will slightly improve offensive.

    == Ultimate nerf ==

    Make her ultimate duration to 40 seconds from 90 seconds. Because she is too defensive, doesn’t require you to move too much, you have to stuck in 1 place which encourages campers and doesn’t require skill. This is also the issue in high level and tournament plays. She is boring to play.

    ==== CRYPTO ====

    == Passive buff ==

    Increase the radius to 40 or 50 metres from 30 metres which drone detects something, because enemies can destroy that drone near them and this change can make enemies think to when, where and how to act.

    == Tactical buff ==

    Increase the drone speed to 50% to avoid spending much time on the drone that prevents boredom.

    Add the hold button for tactical, where after 25 or 35 seconds he can make drone go around in slightly increments of radius of himself few times to look for nearby objects like loot boxes, care packages, enemies.

    == Ultimate buff ==

    Make emp not affect his allies like to take damage and get stunned, because enemies can easily heal quickly, which makes pushing the enemy pointless, this change will improve offence.

    == Ultimate nerf ==

    Slightly increase the time if emp activation, Make radius of emp show lines into 16 parts (just like pizza slices, but attached slices), where half of that part around the circle skipping 1 step is empty (transparent) which no emp effect is made on enemies, it will provide enemies more time to position and make strategies. And it will avoid Crypto dealing free damages.

    ==== GIBRALTAR ====

    == Passive nerf ==

    Reduce Shield health to 25 from 50, because its overpowered when exchanging fights.

    == Ultimate nerf ==

    Remove few missiles, it will reduce the likeliness to get hit by missiles.

    ==== CAUSTIC ====

    == Tactical nerf ==

    When enemies approaches to gas traps, the gas trap will initiate after 2 seconds (instead of instant), and make gas slightly increase the characters movement speed. Reason, its frustrating to be in gas trap, it is annoying that enemies can quickly find and kill you instantly.

    == Ultimate rework (buff) ==

    His ultimate is almost useless, because it’s almost same as tactical which doesn’t make you want to use the ultimate. His new ultimate will be the gas launcher which will be usable in close range, the length of the gas is small which the gas launcher firing process will be like charge rifle (the lasering part, not finishing part) which will be 6 damage, the size of the gas ammo, will be same as Ramparts ultimate. The slowdown will be the same as the tactical nerf idea I mentioned previously. How to use gas launcher, you hold the button to initiate the gas until you release the button which will stop the gas.

    ==== OCTANE ====

    == Tactical buff ==

    Increase speed to 60% from 40% because enemies can moderately doesn’t miss shots.

    == Tactical nerf ==

    In current live server, when using tactical the small amount of health is taken, so revert the changes to previous season where more health is taken upon tactical usage. It will prevent him to use tactical more often and will prevent escaping fights too much.

    == Ultimate buff ==

    After running or running and slide into the jump pad, it increases speed by 50%, because enemies can easily shoot them which takes some or more than some of the damages and the jump speed is weak. This change will make use of ultimate more effectively.

    For double jump, the double jump is quite weak, increase the length of double jump by 25%, because double jump is little bit weak which enemies can still hit you.

    I heard that the devs will implement super jump so, I hope those buff applies as the name suits.

    ==== MIRAGE ====

    == Tactical buff ==

    Since his tactical is useless, replace the tactical from his current ultimate ability and reduce number of decoys by 3, because his ultimate is little bit weak, so replacing to tactical will be useful.

    Make tactical cooldown to 35 seconds.

    == Ultimate buff ==

    The ultimate must mimic everything what original Mirage is doing such as healing etc. except shooting, throwables.

    Increase decoys health by 20 health.

    Reason, its still easy to spot real mirage for example while using ultimate when enemies shot you, and you are healing they can spot you and even when enemies almost took your health and to activate the ultimate and go to building, the mid to high skill player can spot real Mirage by going to building because the player knows that real Mirage is more likely to go to safe zone, this change will make it little harder to spot real mirage and make it easy to bait enemies.

    ==== BLOODHOUND ====

    == Ultimate buff ==

    When activated, reduce the grey and white screen by 50 or 70%.

    Significantly reduce the ultimate noise.

    Reason, You won’t be able to know which throwables and enemies are nearby and where the fights are happening so the sounds are quiet hard to hear. The grey and white screen makes it quiet hard to see the environments and surroundings.

    ==== LIFELINE ====

    == Passive buff ==

    Able to self-revive with her drone.

    Able to revive allies or herself while your knocked down.

    Reason, she will be better independently. She will be more recognised as support character.

    == Ultimate buff ==

    Provide better healing items.

    Provide more space for big healing items.

    ==== BANGALORE ====

    == Tactical buff ==

    Add 1 slot.

    Slightly increase the smoke area.

    Reason, provides Bangalore a little advantage to make strategies and escape situations.

    If you disagree say why, and if changes maybe needed if so why. Or if any amendments and additions you need to discuss based on my description, what is it and why it needed.

    Some of them are quite self-explanatory, I just had to let it out.

  4. When olympus first came out I hated it because of the 9th partying but when world's edge came back after 2 weeks I realized it wasn't an olympus problem, that's just the meta this season. The worst meta to date

  5. Goodluck to all the ranked apex players out there ! I know when it comes to ranked no one can take a breath. Have fun , be a clutch player and keep grinding. You guys amd gals are all the best. Made it to masters last season . now TO PREDATOR BABY !! GOODLUCK EVERYONE
