Apex Legends Season 8 Patch Notes – Legend Changes, Weapon Buffs & More!
Hey guys and welcome back to another Apex Legends video! Today the patch notes for season 8 came out and I wanted to mainly review the legend and weapon changes we will be getting on February 2nd when it goes live.
Some of the biggest changes coming to Apex in season 8 is a nerf to Wraith’s hitbox, a nerf to Horizon’s gravity lift, as well as a pretty nice buff for Loba players.
We also have some new weapon changes for the Volt, Spitfire, Alternator and the Eva 8.

God did they nerf everything
If Horizon had this nerf at the beginning of season 7, maybe I would’ve had a lot more wins
As a caustic main I’m happy about these changes, the gas “nerf” really wont do anything, not getting martyrdom kills with the gas nade will be sad but it was mostly memey anyway
And that bug fix is MASSIVE, it’s part of why BH is such a big counter to caustic, they could get threat vision through the gas and deny yours and it was super annoying to play against when the BH would unknowingly win the fight because I was disadvantaged in my own gas
But it’s still not the end for caustic bug fixes, what about your ult disappearing immediately for no reason? Traps not inflating cause there’s a small useless piece of map geometry there like a door panel? Or how about your passive just not working at all? And through all that your gas could just be ignored by the enemy cause they just weren’t taking the effects despite being right in the center of it?
Caustic is buggy af which is why it always baffles me whenever people say he’s OP, he needs to function before that happens
I'm happy with everything but a dream of mine would be that loba can get the banners with her ultimate an that her tactical would be a little bit faster.
Than I think everybody want th PK back but I think it would be nice if the mastiff and the PK were ground loot and the April fools Mozambique is in the care packet.
And another think is that I feel bad for wraith mains

Ngl when fuse gets out I thought of a cancerous plan if you use Fuse ult and trap the enemies inside the ring you can use Horizon and Caustic ult as a way to damage them overtime and they can't see or escape plus if you want to make sure that they get eliminated use some frags to add that extra spice

Ffs really? Prowler is still a care package bring it back to the ground already they brought back the sheep 99 instantly after 1 season of being a care package. Smh still gonna be seeing sheep9's and sheep volts 🙄so disappointing
Anybody feel like respawn is getting lazy…
Respawn needs to nerf caustic his gas spreads way to far and deals way to much damage after 1 day I can already tell that he has the number 1 pick rate in the game they either need to nerf the range or the damage

I think Loba should always have to repress her tactical to confirm her teleport . She should have up to 10 seconds before her teleport gets cancelled or if she moves out of range of here bracelet.I think that Would solve the thought of her bracelet toss being to slow. Then she can plan ahead what she's going to do whether that's attacking , looting or picking up teammates Banner, then quickly get out of danger by repressing her tactical button, that could make some really good gameplay.
