Apex Legends New System Rework and Legend Ability Leak as Respawn is planning to once again do an update and change the way the Ranked system works and how to earn points and earn the top rank of Apex Predator for Season 13. This comes alongside a new legend that was leaked a few weeks ago in Hawk but now we have a more indepth break down of how her abilities work and how they will impact the meta and possibly change the buffs and nerfs of the game in the future!

  1. Not sure if it is the same in the US but every hard stuck D4 player is now hitting masters due to the point system. It’s way too easy to hit masters this time around, takes away the achievement when you see average players getting it,

  2. Need better rewards for ranked mode.. Not gonna sweat my ass off every season cos I lose my trail + badges means nothing anymore since a crazy amount of people just pay to get boosted till master

  3. They should change Arenas to a gauntlet like mode a straight up 1v1 or 3v3 on a very small map with just a little Cover so you have to immediatley fight and weapons have to be random and the same for everyone

  4. This season, so many usual hardstuck d4 players have hit masters for the first time and the actual players of master+ calibre are being grouped with them. A new rank between master and pred would be cool, something to actually differentiate players based on overall skill as now masters is pretty much the new diamond. It was bad after season 7 once they made masters easier, now they have made the rank free from season 12 onwards. Next season whenever you jump from the jump ship i guarantee the sky will be full of purple dive trails. This will keep players happy in the short term but i personally feel like this is the beginning of the end for apex rank. RIP apex ranked.

  5. I really hope they make some changes in ranked arenas. I want to enjoy but it it's difficult because the one game I lose against smurfs in diamond lobbies is -38 while I only get +12 carrying jimbob and Timmy no thumbs

Areanas just need a rework period that game is complete shit… horrible execution when it comes to game play design choices… I’d encourage removing the CSGO shop for weapons and having legends buy their passive abilities and limited arsenal plus much more like your ultimate charges overtime like in the br but you can get it faster by playing well… also remove the storm in that game mode and makes it a like capture the flag or control point like have two control points on the map.

    Idea: for control point ofc there would be a max point that wins the match like normal but there would be two points “capture-able” and have like a defined bonus so if someone sits I. The point you increase point gain speed (only for one person) so it’s not who ever gets to the ping first and had the whole team in it wins and then have the ability for points to be lost for each time a point swap teams or such band ofc keep the when entire team is eliminated the game is over… with this approach I would like to see like a team number of lives each round which can be used to Respawn

    For Capture the flag: put down one flag and have the flag carrier go to three points on the map each a control point and once all three points have been captured the game ends… points wouldn’t be able to be reversed once captured and are final ofc if the entire team is eliminated then the round ends with this you could have a Respawn if you still have a member alive but if all three are dead at the same time then the game is over…. Just some ideas but I think arenas suck

  8. I'd like to see a more even split between kills and placement, so that you can't just stomp a lobby but you also can't rat every game to get to diamond. as someone who grinds ranked every split, tier demotion would really decrease motivation to continue playing ranked.

  10. They should make dive-trails gained from ranking up last 3 seasons because on the fourth season they offer the same dive trail that they earned "because they are rotating the dive-trails". This would make people play ranked more that don't ever play ranked. Or make it to where whatever the highest dive trail they obtain becomes permanent for that account "able to be turned off or replaced" but if they choose to use a different one they still lose it at the end of the season. This would make people that never play ranked more likely to give it a go. I personally never play ranked because if I do level up I gain nothing but bragging rights, everything else that I may have gained will go away in a couple months and I would have to earn it again. It takes the fun out of playing the game when you lose any form of proof that you made it to diamond or Pred. PROVE ME WRONG

  11. It’s a shame how much they f-Ed up this season’s first split. Between making it way too long and allowing cheaters/exploiters to make master. Master has been packed with ppl making it for the first time. It’s making the title almost meaningless :/

  12. I KNOW ITS LONG BUT TRUST ME
    Idk how you look at the graph and see most people in their ranked tier are at the lowest level and say tier demotion is bad for the game. That graph looks so unnatural. Im not trying offend anyone, but just about anything you can measure in life that accounts for everyone across the board you’ll find most people are average. Its getting to a point I feel I need to make a video drawing a literal visual why demotion protection is why ranked is the way it is now and why removing it will fix it. What we are feeling now did not happen suddenly this season, its the long term effects of demotion protection. When people feel like they cant go any higher theres only have one way to go, but you’re defying the natural order handicapping people by not letting them fall too far. Its a literal water wheel man. Your capping peoples potential with tier protection. People are so scared to fall, but sometimes you gotta fall to realize its the getting up that keeps you going, but you’re not letting people make those mistakes. Thats why ranked is so easy for people who been playing it. People are making it to levels they weren’t ready for whilst simultaneously not learning from their mistakes. They cant learn from their mistakes if the people they keep having to fight against stomp them out because they already know every trick in the book. Everyone that should be in gold 2 and 1 are in plat 4 and everyone that should be plat 2 or 1 are d4 and getting stomped because they cant go back and recoup readjust. They don’t get the break to breath and analyze what just happen to them because they gotta do it again against the same people instead of going back down to plat giving them the diamond experience, what they should work on when they get back to diamond while also showing the lower plats some game too. It’ll give them that drive, but no most people just get comfortable. ‘I made so thats it. I know I’m not going any further than this.’ Being hardstuck used to drive people to wanna get better, now people are ok with being hardstuck. Let me use the actual term so you can get it, Stagnant. Your content became stagnant, gamemodes and gameplay became stagnant, and now your player base is becoming stagnant. Its only so long people are going sit in one spot. You left Activision/Infinity Ward because of the mentality ‘They’re gonna play our game regardless.’ And now you’re turning into the monster you ran from. Respawn yalls heads are not screwed on straight. I’ve officially lost all hope in you as a developer. It was fun while it lasted.

  14. Ranked should have a kill/assist max of 6.

    Have a max cap of 300 RP per game that can only be gained by reaching 10 kill/assist threshold and winning that game.

    If a player gets 10 kills/assist the Rp gained is increased to provide more Rp for that player.

    But don’t punish teams that play zone because it is a valid competitive strategy. But if an individual kills most of the lobby and wins they should be awarded with lots of Rp which 300 should be a healthy number.

The salty people talking about “new masters” this season are delusional ranked was easier last season when the max RP you can get was like 240+ don’t be mad you can’t hit your rank you probably were hardstuck or maybe that three stack you run you aren’t admitting to is also the reason for you hitting but don’t be mad at people be smart and hitting it.

  16. In my opinion Respawn is being stubborn when it comes to arenas. They know we liked control way better. Or we’d prefer TDM, CTF or anything else as a permanent mode. Arena maps can still be used or even tweaked (expanded) a bit for these game modes; so resources and genuinely good maps aren’t wasted. Arenas was a great concept. But definitely not worthy of being the only other permanent mode, yet alone with ranked.

  17. Hawk sounds lame, we don’t need another Recon or attack prioritizing legend. We need more support Legends. Lifeline is the games only healer, Loba just exists to help players get loot which is useful but having another legend capable of direct healing would come in clutch far better. Also this “leak” about Hawk doesn’t have as much leaked proof of existing as Newcastle does, there’s been leaks of his tactical and ultimate being used with his character model in the firing range as well as his emotes being leaked.
