Mastiff with the hammerpoint p2020 melts. Screwed at long range though

I mostly try to do devotion and triple take or flatline and the broken sentinel these days
The lstar with rampart is unreal
Your fingers must be broken from controlling all that recoil
With this combo plus rampart the l star is op u have almost no switch time when it overheats it feels like it's under a second so u can literally hold it down and it's basically a ar with only a ammo limit of your inventory space

The Longbow is pretty underrated for a sniper I think, it’s so good as a semi and in my opinion better than sentinel and triple take

Honestly the L-star is bad in my opinion. There are too many weapons that I would prefer over it. Personally, I would usually use an lmg, specifically the spitfire and either a shotgun like the mastiff. Either that or a sniper, but only if its the triple take
The first time a ever picked up this load out the other day i won the game, so I think he’s onto something here.

What a coincidence, towards the end of S6 I started using this combo every game and it quickly became my fav gun combo in the game at the time, and you can imagine my excitement when I heard the L-Star was getting buffed in S7

Underrated cuz Lstar is garbage
The most underrated combo is double L-Star. Whenever one is heating, swap for the other and keep firing. Swap back and it will be cool again.
I always thought the Lstar had the same ads strafe speed as devo and spitty so i never picked it up
The problem is that the L-Star is really only good on Rampart. Also, it does not have the same ADS speed as assault rifles it’s 60% like all the other LMG’s
And as much as I love the scout, I feel like unless they put sniper optics back on it it’ll remain useless because the hemlock’s singlefire is better IMO

I wish you would do game play with this it’s kind of boring just watching you run around the training map with no action, it’s hard to see the guns really do work.

On console the scout is used quite a bit. L Star is certainly not used

I was surprised when i used the G7 Scout this season, this season was also the one i came back to apex with. And when i picked up the G7, i thought to myself 'was this gun always this good?' I've been using it ever since as my mid to long range option whenever i can find it. I didn't know that about the L-Star in Apex though. Probably should've seen it coming given the L-Star is my favorite weapon in Titanfall 2, and it was pretty accurate and high damage in titanfall 2 just harder to use because it was one of the few weapons that actually had a projectile instead of being hit scan. I liked that extra challenge of the L-Star though, Same with the Holo pilot kit. I like using stuff that is not normally considered the best for the added challenge of making them shine. But given the L-Star acts almost like it did in Titanfall 2 i'll definitely pick it up again.
